"Find Your Love" is a dancehall-leaning R&B song that contains a "traditional soulful R&B vibe" with "a Jamaican beat".[4][2]The song received positive reviews, with critics commending Drake's attempt at moving into the singing lane, and comparing it to its producer, Kanye West's work on 808s & Heartbreak. The Star Phoenix said the song featured a beat that could be on 808s and Heartbreak and that Drake showed off his "versatility" and "smooth singing on this slow-jam", stating, "I better find your loving / I better find your heart," he sings (over and over and over) on the chorus to this bump-'n'-grind single."[5] Ryan Brockington of the New York Post said the song consisted of "dripping double-drum beats, 80's filtered vocals and a catchy little chorus".[6] Jayson Rodriguez of MTV News said that the song features "Drake in full crooner mode as he sings about saving his relationship: "I'm more than just an option," he sings over sparse drums and piano licks. "Refuse to be forgotten / I took a chance with my heart / And I feel it taking over / I better find your loving / I better find your heart."[7] Andrew Martin of Prefix Magazine said that the beat sounded "right off 808s and Heartbreak, and that the track was "intriguing and slightly unexpected".[8] Clinton Yates of The Washington Post complimented the song, but said that the song lacked Drake's lyrical talent.[9] Find Your Love was named the eighth best song of 2010 by Time.[10] The song was nominated for Record of the Year at the 2010 Soul Train Music Awards.[11]

The man then assures Drake he doesn't want to get involved in a world like that and that he should focus on his album and his music. However, Drake still refuses to listen and ventures back into into town to find his love interest. The video then rewinds back to when Drake and Michel first encounter each other; Mavado, who plays the ganglord, has men on lookout who spot the rapper talking to Michel, his woman.

It sounds like Rihanna really did a number on poor Drake's heart, as he still seems to be pining after her. "I'm more than just a number, I doubt you'll find another, so every single summer, I'll be the one that you remember." Drake could have threatened the object of his affection with getting revenge by revealing incriminating stuff about her, or by hooking up with her friend, or by calling her out on her imperfections. Instead, Drake takes the classy route and builds himself up, making for a convincing argument that he really is a good lover and boyfriend--and not just because of what he can do physically, which is all too often what pop songs convey.

He's in his prime now, but in this track, Drake doesn't go over-the-top with sexuality--it's more about the heart, which makes for a very lady-friendly song that's nice to hear on the airwaves.

Drake's "Find Your Love," the second single from his best-selling debut Thank Me Later, displays a softer side of the Canadian hip-hop star — a side that's more heart than ego, more pleading than partying. The Kanye West–produced track has inspired some comparisons to Kanye's 808s & Heartbreak album, and understandably so: "Find Your Love" goes down just as smooth as anything on 808s. Here we find Drake stripped of his confidence and searching for that deeper something — call it love, a spark or just a connection — that's rarely the stuff of hip-hop songs.

He then gets in to the nxt hook with 'Im more than just a number (Hey hey hey)I doubt youll find another (Hey hey hey)So every single summer (Hey hey hey)Ill be the one that you remember' - this signifies that hes not just any rapper and with his performance he will be crapping out hit after hit and we will love it and we will make hime blow up.

Am I crazy for thinking this song is about an obsessive, one-sided relationship? Like, I understand how it's about music or being "more than friends" but everytime I hear this song I think it's about like, a Fatal Attraction-kind of relationship. And the video doesn't totally disprove my theory. Look at it like this:"I took a chance with my heart (Hey hey hey)/And I feel it takin' over"-He took a chance by being with this girl and now he's mad for her and his love/lust is taking over him completely"I'm more than just a number (Hey hey hey)/I doubt you'll find another (Hey hey hey"-She doesn't feel the same way and she puts him off as "just another guy" but he says that he's the best... I was about to say "she'll have ever had" but I wanted to avoid the obvious Drake pun :P"I better find your lovin'/I better find your heart/I bet if I give all my love/Then nothin's gonna tear us apart"-She better fall in love with him because if he can't have her then nobody can. And he figures if he just keeps showing how much he loves her, he can force her to fall for him, when it's really just a pipe dream. As an opinion, when I first heard a sample of this song, I was like, "oooh, Drake, you let me down". But after hearing it 2 or 3 times, I can't stop listening to it! I feel Drake is an artist you have to let grow on you, but one he does, you'll be a big fan. He's definitely one of the best artists in the game today.

Listen Mr. Lama. Stop needing reassurance. I am quite sure you are loved. I have a personal line with the person. S/he says your numerous positive qualities are incredibly desireable. And after so much time s/he knows of which she speaks :D

This song is painful after I watch the music video. He is tired of not having the one. He finds a girl he can really give his all to and his thinks that if he puts all he can towards her, she will be the one. In the video, he was too wrong (even though he desperately did not want to be). I can so relate. I did this same thing. I thought "If I give him all my love, then he'll realize..." and I thought "I'm going to find his love". And it hurts very much! However, I had a very happy ending.

Awesome song. You can relate it to just about anything. I would think it's about him crossing the "friends zone" with a girl and looking for her love after its over. He's making sure that it's not just lust so he sings to her asking to find her heart.

The chorus, with its repeated lines 'I better find your lovin', I better find your heart,' suggests a sense of urgency and determination. Drake is not just looking for a superficial connection; he wants to find genuine love that is reciprocated and strong enough to withstand any challenges. The phrase 'I bet if I give all my love, then nothing's gonna tear us apart' speaks to the belief that wholehearted commitment is the key to a resilient relationship.
