I am an experienced library professional in various capacities in different organizations including research laboratories and academic institutions. Currently, I am serving as Academic counselor at IGNOU, New Delhi. My strong areas of professional work are library technologies, human aspects of library management, ICT and the emerging area of digital scholarship.
There also needs to be a change in the basic mindset of society. Reducing disparity in the girl-boy ratio in schools, the inclusion of students of all races, ethnicities, economic backgrounds, and sexualities approaching education scientifically, and above all, achieving the objectives of education for enlightening minds should be the main goal. At the end of the day, the focus should be on creating a better environment for learning.
