Virtual Calming Room

We are operating in uncharted territory right now that no one could have possibly imagined or prepared for. Olaf, the snowman in "Frozen," said it best - "We're calling this controlling what you can when things feel out of control."

Be kind to yourself and know that you are not alone. When you begin to feel overwhelmed, anxious or frustrated with the unknown of this entire experience, take a breath, step away, and find something you can control. Maybe it's Facetiming a friend, maybe it's watching a Netflix show, maybe it's taking a shower, or maybe it's just sitting on the porch staring into the distance.

Your feelings are normal; this situation is not. Remember, don't forget to breathe!

This Virtual Calming Room is a place

for students, families and staffulty

to find tools and strategies for managing

emotions and feelings.

I am here to support you!
