I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, supported by the Women in Science and Engineering – Post Doctoral Fellowship (WISE-PDF) scheme of the Department of Science and Technology (DST). My research interests lie in numerical analysis, particularly in the development and analysis of numerical methods for singularly perturbed differential equations that arise in several scientific and engineering applications.
Prior to my current position, I worked as a Visiting Faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at the National Institute of Technology Puducherry, where I taught undergraduate and postgraduate mathematics courses and contributed to the department's academic activities.
I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2022 from the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli, under the supervision of V. Shanthi.
Before pursuing my doctoral studies, I worked as a Junior Research Fellow on a DST-SERB funded project under the guidance of V. Shanthi, conducting research on numerical methods for differential equations.
I obtained my Integrated M.Sc. degree in Mathematics in 2016 from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur.
In addition to my research work, I have served as a reviewer for several international journals, which include
Applied Numerical Mathematics,
Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems,
Iranian Journal of Numerical Analysis and Optimization,
Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing,
Journal of Difference Equations and Applications,
Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, among others.
My research collaborations include Higinio Ramos, V. Shanthi, V. P. Ramesh, and Ram Shiromani.
