Rosie was awarded her PhD in Marketing from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in July 2022, earning the prestigious Faculty of Business and Law Executive Dean's Commendation for her Outstanding Doctoral Thesis in 2022.

Rosie's research is centered on leveraging unstructured big data and advanced statistical methods to delve into sustainable purchasing and consumption behaviours. Utilizing techniques like natural language processing, artificial neural networks, mediation analysis, and choice modeling, she aims to extract practical managerial insights applicable across sectors like retail, service, and finance.

Recognized for her teaching excellence, she has been awarded the Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
She has facilitated R and Python workshops at the Queensland Cyber Infrastructure Foundation (QCIF).
She contributed to social and behavioural research at CSIRO (Australia's National Science Agency). She studied consumer adoption of sustainable building practices, leveraging social and mass media to influence decisions in home renovation and property purchasing. This work, conducted in partnership with government and industry, underscores the importance of translating sustainable behaviour research into consumer decision-making with the aim of enhancing well-being and reducing carbon emissions.
Rosie's extensive experience in marketing and branding, spanning over a decade with multinational corporations like RACQ, Perfetti Van Melle (Mentos), Samsung Electronics, and Wilmar International, enriches her academic work, particularly in strategic branding.
Additionally, her role as a co-supervisor at QUT’s School of Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations has been rewarding, with her students achieving notable scholarships and recognition. She is actively involved in mentoring HDR students and guiding them towards successful publications.
