I am an academician and researcher with extensive teaching and research experience in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), having worked at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am currently serving in the Department of Electronics and Communication at Malla Reddy (MR) (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, India. Previously, I worked as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and served as the Research Coordinator and Quality Coordinator for the Centre for Research and Consultancy (CRC) at Middle East College (MEC), Muscat, Oman (affiliated with Coventry University, United Kingdom). I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I obtained my Master’s in Embedded Systems (ES) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH), and my Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the same university. Additionally, I earned a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in International Higher Education Practice (IHEP) from Coventry University, UK. I am a Senior Member of IEEE and an active member of several other professional bodies. I am also a certified expert in Digital Circuits and Systems from IIT Madras through the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning . I have completed numerous academic certifications and training programs from reputed global institutions, including the Online Short-Term Training Program on Deep Learning with Python and the Online Short-Term Training Program on Machine Learning with Python from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, India. I am also a Certified Artificial Intelligence (AI) Expert (Global Tech Council), Certified Internet of Things (IoT) Expert (Global Tech Council), and hold a Professional Certificate of Competency in Fundamentals of Electric Vehicles (Engineering Institute of Technology). Additionally, I have completed several courses from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Switzerland. To date, I have published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and over 20 international conference papers. I have filed five patents, registered one copyright, authored one book, edited several books, and contributed multiple book chapters. I have successfully secured research funding from The Research Council (TRC), Oman, and internal grants from Middle East College (MEC), Muscat, Oman. I was awarded scholarships for both my Post Graduation Certification (PGCert), Coventry University, United Kingdom and Ph.D. studies, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia. I have supervised more than 60 final-year undergraduate projects across Computing, IT, Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering and currently co-supervise two Ph.D. candidates. I was the Winner of the IEEE ComSoc Internet of All Competition Award 2022 for “Connecting Underserved Communities to the Internet” in the Europe, Middle East & Africa Region. In addition to my academic roles, I have contributed significantly to institutional planning, accreditation processes, curriculum design, and academic development through various leadership and administrative responsibilities. My research interests primarily focus on Wireless Communications and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
