Undergraduate level: Conducted Cell Biology (Offering semester: 1-2), Developmental Biology (2-1), Virology (3-1), Medical Biotechnology (3-2), and Molecular Genetics (3-1) in the department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology at JUST.
Masters of Science: Bioinformatics in molecular biology (MS 5-2) and Scientific writing (Optional course, 5-2) courses in level in the same department.
Responsibilities: Preparing course materials and presentation slides, delivering 40 one-hour lectures per course, assessing class performance through tests, presentations, or other methods, creating final exam questions, and evaluating final exam papers for each course.
Student supervision:
Undergraduate Level: Each year, two undergraduate students conduct their final-year 6-credit research theses under my supervision.
Master of Science: One Master’s student is currently conducting his 6-credit final thesis under my direct supervision.
Ph.D. Student: I am currently co-supervising one Ph.D. student who is researching population-specific SNPs related to autism spectrum disorder.
Responsibilities: I motivate students to engage in research, familiarize them with modern research techniques, and teach them the following skills: microbial and animal cell culture, DNA/RNA extraction, cDNA preparation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, qPCR, RNA-seq data analysis, interpretation of research results, and writing thesis papers and journal articles.
