We respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, your data control rights, and permission handling for camera, photos, location, notifications, local storage.
We DO NOT sell your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
No mandatory account registration is required to use the App’s core functions. There are no social community features.
2.1 Data You Voluntarily Submit
Camera & Gallery Photos: Only collected when you manually tap to take a plant/pest photo or select gallery media for identification. We only access individual images you explicitly choose; we never scan your full photo library in background.
Temporary processing: Photos sent to our secure server for AI plant/disease recognition, permanently deleted after analysis (unless you save the result image to your personal plant journal locally on your device).
Light Meter feature: Camera frame luminance data processed on-device only; raw camera pixel data never leaves your iPhone during lux measurement. No light reading history uploads without your opt-in sync.
Location Data (Optional Permission): If you grant location access, we retrieve your approximate geographic area solely to generate region-matched plant care plans. Location coordinates are not stored long-term and are discarded after generating customized guidance. You may deny location access with zero impact on core identification and light meter tools.
Plant Journal User Content: Saved plant names, growth notes, care reminder schedules, saved lux light history logs stored locally on your iOS device. If you enable optional iCloud sync, data syncs to your private Apple iCloud storage – we cannot access your iCloud backups.
No mandatory email, username or personal identifiers are required to use the App.
2.2 Automatically Collected Non-Identifiable Device Data
Anonymous device diagnostics: Crash logs, App feature usage statistics (e.g., number of plant scans, light meter sessions) without linked personal identity, used only to fix bugs and improve AI accuracy.
Anonymous Apple IAP receipt token: To validate active Premium subscription status; we cannot access your full Apple ID payment details.
IP address: Temporary server log only, auto-purged after 7 days, not linked to your user identity.
2.3 Optional Permissions (All Require Explicit iOS Pop-Up Consent)
Camera Permission: Required only for plant scan, pest diagnosis, light meter lux testing. Revocable anytime in iOS Settings.
Photo Library Access: Required only to select existing plant photos from your gallery for identification.
Location Permission: Optional, only for location-specific care recommendations; core App works fully without it.
Notification Permission: For plant care watering/light reminders; fully opt-in, no mandatory marketing push notifications.
