I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Patna (IIT Patna). My research focuses on advanced micromachining processes and the development of hybrid manufacturing techniques for the processing of difficult-to-machine materials. Additionally, I am actively engaged in additive manufacturing and post-processing of additively manufactured components.

I received M. Tech & Ph.D. joint degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur and earned  B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Graphic Era University Dehradun. Following my Ph.D., I worked as a Senior Project Engineer at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Subsequently, I served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur before joining IIT Patna.
