Dr.J. Venkataramanaiah was born in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. He received his B.Tech in electrical and electronics engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Anantapur, India. He obtained an M.Tech in Power Electronics from JNTU, Anatapur, India. He received his Ph.D. in power electronics from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Presently he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of electrical engineering, at Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. He has published many research articles in IEEE Transactions, IET, and other reputed journals. He is currently working on High power converters, PV-Grid applications, Modulation techniques, Dual output inverters, Fault-tolerant operations of MLI, and Converters for EV applications.
