Dr. Jayendra Kumar is a Professor in the School of Electronics Engineering (SENSE), VIT-AP University, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is a Senior Member of IEEE with over 14 years of teaching and research experience.

He received his Ph.D. in RF and Microwave Engineering from NIT Silchar in April 2018. His research interests include reconfigurable, transparent, flexible, and MIMO antennas, RF/microwave engineering, 5G/6G communications, mm-wave technologies, and machine-learning-assisted antenna design.

Dr. Kumar has published extensively in international journals and conferences and has contributed to funded research projects, industry consultancy projects, patents, and industry-academia collaborations. He has also delivered invited talks, keynote lectures, and technical presentations at various academic and professional forums. His research has been recognized through inclusion among the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists. He actively contributes to the academic community as an editor, reviewer, conference chair, and technical committee member.
