The Lind lab at Uppsala University use experimental evolution and artificial selection, in the powerful nematode Caenorhabditis remanei and C. elegans model systems to test hypotheses about evolution of inheritance systems (phenotypic plasticity, parental and epigenetic inheritance) during adaptation to new environments.
Hanna Kokko and her group use a variety of modelling techniques to investigate behaviour, life history and other traits at the interface between ecology and evolution.
The Botero Lab uses a variety of analytical tools to investigate how different types of environmental fluctuations influence ecological and evolutionary processes.
I obviously also collaborate with several other members of the CBD, including Prof. Jane Reid, Prof. Cameron Ghalambor, Prof. Jon Wright, Prof. Jarle Tufto and several others.
Dr. Silva did his PhD in the Immler lab at Uppsala University where he focused on the developmental and evolutionary aspects of epigenetics.
