Donna Micheaux, Ph.D.
Dr. Donna Micheaux, of Micheaux Educational Consulting, has served students and public schools in Pennsylvania and across the nation for 25+ years. She is a committed educator and staunch advocate for ensuring quality learning experiences and opportunities for all children. Most recently Dr. Micheaux served as the Deputy Superintendent of the Pittsburgh Public Schools and Chief of Schools Officer for the Dallas Independent School District.
Throughout her career in public education as a teacher, administrator, district leader, adjunct professor and research associate, she has focused on leadership development, improving teacher and principal practice and most importantly, student learning.
Donna has national experience working with school districts across the country as the Lead District Liaison for the Institute for Learning at the University of Pittsburgh and the National Director of Professional Development for New Leaders. She has held various K-12 positions and served on several boards and committees. She regularly presents at national conferences and has published articles on leadership.
Dr. Micheaux received a B.S. in Special Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a doctorate in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
