First of all, I love Nalini Singh's books. She's my favorite author, and I enjoy her writing so much that I have reread her books so many times. It's not even the stories that make me reread, although of course they're great, and I love them, but the way she writes. I love the way she writes a sentence, how she weaves the sentences and paragraphs. But yesterday, I finished listening to the audiobook version of Mine to Possess. This morning, I started listening to Last Guard. And God, the was an obvious difference in her writing style. I feel like she's getting repetitive with words and types of sentences. Am I the only one that's noticing this? I'm kind of irritated with myself because I enjoy her books so much, and noticing this is going to make the books less enjoyable. Usually writers get better with time, but...
