I was drawn to Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) by the diverse student body and the potential to have strong synergy between my teaching and research programs. Since starting at NEIU in 2009, I have worked to create relevant and engaging course materials across our undergraduate and graduate curriculum. I also have worked to develop a research program that is collaborative, student-centered, and allows undergraduate and graduate students to be involved in all aspects of the research process, from planning to publication.  For more information on my teaching and research please see the links above.
