The organizers of the 4th Data Prefetching Championship (DPC4) invite you to participate in the data prefetching competition and the subsequent workshop, which will be hosted in conjunction with HPCA 2026 at Sydney, Australia.
The goal of the competition is to evaluate innovative ideas in data prefetching under a common evaluation framework to tangibly advance the state-of-the-art. Participants should implement data prefetchers for L1/L2/LLC within a storage budget as mentioned in in the implementaion rules. All submissions will be evaluated using the common simulation framework and a mix of disclosed and hidden workload traces (which will be disclosed after the championship concludes), as mentioned in the evaluation rules. Authors of the submissions selected as per the selection rule will be invited to present and discuss their proposals in the workshop. The champion(s) will receive trophy recognizing their contribution. All source code, papers, and evaluation results will be made publicly-available to promote fairness and reproduction.
