However, if you are a photographer who 100% relies upon your computer and your software for your business to function - a photographer who simply can't have any bumps in the road - resist that urge. Let us "settlers" who will push that button as soon as Apple, Adobe, and Microsoft provide updates take those arrows (if there are any) .I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that you have updated your software as soon as updates are available and have NEVER had a problem. You are lucky and you didn't even know it. Software is so complicated these days and the testing the software companies is doing frequently ends up not being enough.

I hear from photographers almost every single day who tell me that they have heard me share this advice and thought it wouldn't happen to them and then share very sad stories about how an update killed their productivity and made them miss expectations with clients.

I don't want that to be you. Below is information where I maintain my recommendation on when photographers should update their software. My educated opinion comes from my own testing, testing from other "settlers", and watching the support forums. When an update seems to be having very few issues and is ready for general use it gets my Photo Taco "?Seal of Approval?".

It has been happening now for two days for me (yesterday and today). Looking at the status page everything seems to be fine , so I am not sure if there is something wrong with the registry or on our side.

Background: Breast cancer patients experience a variety of altered appearance--such as loss or disfigurement of breasts, discolored skin, and hair loss--which result in psychological distress that affect their quality of life. This study aims to evaluate the impact of socioeconomic status on the altered appearance distress, body image, and quality of life among Korean breast cancer patients.

Materials and methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted at advocacy events held at 16 different hospitals in Korea. Subjects were eligible to participate if they were 18 years of age or older, had a histologically confirmed diagnosis of breast cancer, had no evidence of recurrence or metastasis, and had no psychological problems at the time of the survey. Employment status, marital status, education, and income were assessed for patient socioeconomic status. Altered appearance distress was measured using the NCI's cancer treatment side effects scale; body image and quality of life were measured by the EORTC QLC-C30 and BR23. Means and standard deviations of each outcome were compared by socioeconomic status and multivariate linear regression models for evaluating the association between socioeconomic status and altered appearance distress, body image, and quality of life.

Conclusions: Socioeconomic status is significantly associated with altered appearance distress, body image, and quality of life in Korean women with breast cancer. Patients who suffer from altered appearance distress or lower body image are much more likely to experience psychosocial, physical, and functional problems than women who do not, therefore health care providers should be aware of the changes and distresses that these breast cancer patients go through and provide specific information and psychosocial support to socioeconomically more vulnerable patients.

I have a site that displays a Word document (could use another app) that shows the status (green / amber / red) of some of our services. This is a manual process and is good but we want to be able to have another idicator on our main SharePoint page - so an image or text box that shows either green/amber/red if any of the services are affected.

@RobElliott Thanks, yes I have done that it looks good on my status page which may have up to 12 services listed but I was then after a way to show a summary on our main sharepoint page so if all services were green, it would somehow indicate that on the main page, if we had any amber services, it would just have an amber sign/message and if any red services, a red sign/message.

@GaryS123 the way I would do that is to have a separate list for the main page dashboard and use a flow in Power Automate. You could get the status from several lists all in that flow and update the overall status column in the main list.
