Pricing and Agreement

Please Read All Instructions Before Submitting

I am doing flat rate prices for stream mixes, negotiated by complexity. Per song mix cost is sliding scale of $80-$130 (Flat Rate, not hourly, based on necessary cleanup and complexity), with Mastering an extra $40 per song. Email me at DownTheWayStudio@Gmail.com for a quote. Payment is due upon agreement. 

Before you submit, remember that I will be live streaming myself mixing your song. Submitting your song means you agree with this stipulation. You can find the stream HERE.

I understand that you may be nervous to have the process of working on your song streamed, so I have a few things I will publicly guarantee:

• I will not share your song outside of the live stream without your permission

• I will use no part of your song or project in any way outside of your project.

• I will not post your song on any site without your permission

• I will nuke the song off my drive at your request after you receive all the project files.

To work on your song, I need ONE of these two things:

A.) A Pro Tools project with all audio files with no plugins on the tracks, contained in a .zip.

B.) Use a different DAW? Then I need full-length bounces of each track of the song (24 Bit, 48kHZ) so when I import them they’ll line up. Tracks should be appropriately titled (and brief). Make a .zip file of the tracks and upload that to WeTransfer. Zipping them is important as it is a barrier against data corruption!

If you have effects on something that you feel is part of the song, send a copy of the track with and without effects, so that I have a reference to use if I need to see what you’re going for and if I might need to approach how you got there a little differently. Also DI for guitar and bass help a lot of you have them.

Note: Do not send just a single audio file, and make sure you only have stereo tracks for stereo sources. If both sides are the same, it is not a stereo source.

Use WeTransfer to send a download link to downthewaystudio@gmail.com along with a text file the song's key, bpm, and links/titles to reference songs or I can blind mix and pull out what I hear in the song

When I accept your song to work on and we come to an agreement on price, if I need anything extra I will contact you. I will also let you know when your project will be streamed. When I am finished, I will send a bounce for your approval, and revise if necessary. You get 5 revisions included in the price. I will send all project files and bounces back to you upon approval. After 30 days post completion, you are responsible for the storage of your files. After that, they are removed from both the cloud drive I send you and my main + backup drives.
