Steps to Install Microsoft 365
on Windows
Download Microsoft 365 from the microsoft365.com/setup site.
From your browser, choose the option like Run, setup, Save File, or other.
Wait for the User Account Control prompt and click on the YES tab.
The installation has been initiated. Therefore wait until the message – “You’re all set! The office is installed now” appears on the screen.
You may play the animation and choose the close tab.
Once you reopen Office 365, read and accept the license terms.
on Mac
Make sure the file has completely downloaded from the microsoft365.com/setup site.
Either open the setup from Finder or go to Downloads.
Next, double-click on the installer.pkg file and initiate the installation.
Take a review of the Office 365 license terms.
Hit Continue, browse the installation location and cli ck Install.
Once asked, enter the Mac details, then move forward with the Install Software option.
Get started with MS 365 by opening the app, then hit the “Get Started” tab.
Steps to Activate Microsoft Office365
Follow these steps for activation:
Open the installed Office program and go to the Activate section.
Choose to activate MS Office when it asks you.
Go to the screen by clicking the Next option.
You will be asked to enter the product activation key now.
Provide the key in the requested column and follow the given instructions on the screen.
Your Office product will be successfully activated in your device.
How to Cancel Microsoft 365
Here's the procedure through which you can cancel your Microsoft 365 subscription or free trial:
Go to microsoft365.com/setup and select the sign-in icon in the upper-right corner.
Sign in to your Microsoft account and select My Account.
Select Services & Subscriptions and click Manage option.
Select Cancel Subscription in the right column.
Select Turn off recurring billing on the next screen to confirm.
A massage will appear indicating that you turned off recurring billing for the Microsoft 365 subscription.
You retain access to Microsoft 365 until your next renewal date. After that, you aren't charged, but you lose access to the service.
