We do not collect any personal information or data from you.
· The App does not require account creation, login, or any form of user identification.
· The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data (such as names, email addresses, location, or device identifiers) to external servers.
· The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
· Download data: All download URLs, file names, progress, and file paths are stored locally on your device only using a local database (Room). This information is never sent anywhere else and remains entirely under your control.
2. Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions strictly for core functionality:
· INTERNET – to download files from the internet.
· FOREGROUND_SERVICE and POST_NOTIFICATIONS – to continue downloads in the background and display a progress notification.
· READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 10 and below) – to save files to shared storage. On Android 11 and above, the App uses scoped storage and does not require these permissions.
These permissions are used only for their stated purpose and never for data collection.
3. Data Storage and Security
· All download-related data (URLs, filenames, progress) is stored locally in a secure, app-private database.
· Downloaded files are saved to your device’s app-specific directory (/Android/data/com.pro.downloadmanager/files/Download/) or a custom location you choose. We have no access to these files.
· No data is transmitted to us or any third party.
4. Third‑Party Services
Downloader X does not use any third-party services.
There are no analytics, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools integrated into the App.
5. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Any changes will be posted within the App or on our designated privacy policy page. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
