When you are done using the whiteboard on your phone or tablet, select the Close (X) button in the upper left corner of the screen to close the drawing tools and return to the menu with options such as Unmute, Start Video, etc.

On Pop! OS, which uses gnome there is a tab on the System Settings to test your mouse.

This test window register the pen touch as a mouse click, so I believe in your case the ring strip would be register as mouse scroll wheel. Did you test it on a similar way on your end to check if your tablet has the proper key binding?

Download Zoom For Tablet

I figured it out, which wasn't easy (googling the issue mostly brought up suggestions that the Android app needed to be installed). It's in Android Settings/Apps/Choose Default apps /Opening links. Make sure "open links in apps" is already On (mine was) then go down to Zoom, make sure" Open supported links" is on (again, mine was) then click on Supported web addresses - where on my tablet nothing was turned on from a list of possible options. Select the ones that resemble URLs you receive (I chose a couple of zoom.us) or maybe all of them?

I resolved the issue by uninstalling the zoom app, then clearing the cache AND the storage on the Play Store app, then installing the Zoom app, then clearing the cache and storage on the newly installed Zoom app. Clearing the cache wasn't enough.

Do you have Intune installed on your tablet?

If your email app is controlled by Intune, you will not be able to transfer the meeting ID embedded in the email link to another app.

If Intune is installed, you need to use the Zoom for Intune app (icon with the lock).

Do you own a tablet? You will not be able to transfer the meeting ID embedded in the email link to another app if your email app is controlled by Intune. You need to use the zoom for in tune app if it is installed.

I have the same exact problem, on my new Galaxy S8 tablet. I am quite proficient at Zoom with a pro account, I have loaded the app and signed it in, and I can start a meeting or I can join other meetings with the meeting number and passcode, but the Android app on the new tablet simply will not open from a link in an email. Links still work fine on the old tablet and on my android phone. The tablet definitely does not have an app called Intune. I have requested tech support.

Thanks for the detailed note. However, this did not work for me on the Lenovo Tab. The only thing that finally worked was clearing data and cache in Google Chrome and then trying to login or launch zoom from calendar link. Hope this helps others who continue to face the problem.

JanAugCPA, you are a lifesaver, I just upgraded from old Android 10 tablet to new Android 13 tablet, and immediately began encountering this issue, whereas for years I could just click on a zoom.us meeting URL and it would take me right into the meeting room. Was trying everything to fix to no avail. THANK YOU so much for the solution!

My Samsung Galaxy S8 tablet is experiencing the same exact problem as yours, on my brand new tablet. Zoom works quite well with a pro account, I've downloaded the app and signed in, and I'm able to start meetings and join other meetings with the meeting number and passcode, but the Android app on the new tablet doesn't open from an email link. My older tablet and Android phone still work fine with links. Intune is not available on the tablet. My tech support request has been submitted.

For the last couple of years, I've had no trouble using an Amazon Fire Tablet for Zoom in connection with Meetup, but for the last 3 meetings or so I can't join our meetings at all, despite using the latest version of both Zoom and FireOS. My other device is a second generation iPhone SE, I can always join using THAT but both the battery life and screen size are tiny. Now what happens is kind of interesting, the tablet goes into the waiting room OK, and the host is able to put me into the meeting AS FAR AS the other members are concerned...and in fact I can see the "other" instance of myself if I'm also joining over the iPhone copy of the Zoom app, but I DON'T ever actually join with the tablet instance (from what I can see on the tablet), the tablet gets stuck I think with the message "connecting" but it never actually does connect that the tablet can see! Please note this IS the Amazon version of Zoom NOT the Android one, I wouldn't expect that to work! I'm thinking that something was recently changed because as I said I never used to have this problem, can you just track down the changes that were made that were likely only to affect the Fire tablet? I think this is a reasonably thorough bug report, I would certainly expect this bug to be reproducible from my description, thank you!

A graphics tablet, such as a Wacom tablet, is a touch-sensitive surface (similar to a trackpad) with a stylus that allows you to move your computer cursor similarly to a mouse. If you happen to have a graphics tablet, just connect your tablet to your computer via USB and you will be able to use the stylus as a mouse to draw on the Zoom whiteboard. Most instructors will not have access to a graphics tablet.

With any touchscreen tablet, you can connect to a Zoom call directly from the Zoom app on your device and use the whiteboard tool. However, if you have a good Internet connection, we recommend that you also keep the Zoom meeting open on your desktop or laptop computer. This will allow your students to see a more flattering angle of your face and will allow you to more easily control the Zoom meeting.

The WACOM tablet is both a display and a pen-input device. After plugging in the WACOM, follow any on-screen instructions for allowing the device to access your system and to install drivers for your computer. If drivers do not automatically install, appropriate (Apple or Windows) drivers can be found at this webpage: -us/support/product-support/drivers. Once downloaded, run the driver installers to complete setup.

You can use keyboard to zoom in and out by using numpad + and numpad -. If you don't have a numpad on your keyboard, you can set Blender to emulate the numpad under User Preferences > Input > Emulate Numpad.

If you are using Blender on a tablet (or on a computer with a touchscreen), you can zoom in and out by using two fingers on the screen and moving them closer or farther away from each other, just like with other mobile applications.

That being said, you can purchase a three button mouse separately, and use that to manipulate the viewport. If you are going to be using Blender heavily on a device with no third-mouse-button, this can make an enormous difference. For tablets specifically, you can get a wireless mouse with Bluetooth connectivity.

Setup your the graphics tablet to click when the tip is pressed. Then the other two buttons can be set to right and middle click. Now just use the default CTRL+middle-mouse key-binding (can be customised user preferences).

I use a graphic tablet. F13 is mapped to the undo key of my tablet and right-click on a pen button for zoom. The later binding is very time saving in my workflow.I added these bindings in the General drop-down.

Hi Cecilia Hussey-Gonzalez, thank you for purchasing our H640P graphic tablet and we are glad you like it! Kindly install the driver and assign one tablet button to zoom in and another tablet button to zoom out. Here are some helpful links:

Assign this action to a pen button to toggle between Pen mode and Mouse mode. When you first set a pen button to Mode Toggle, the Mouse Mode window appears. Move the sliders to adjust the mouse acceleration and speed. In Pen mode, you use the pen like a regular pen. The cursor jumps to the point where you place your pen, and you define which portion of your device maps to which portion of your monitors. In Mouse mode, you use the pen like a mouse. The cursor stays on the point you left it when you pick up your pen, and you interact with your device like you interact with a mousepad.Modifier Performs a keyboard modifier (Shift, Alt, etc.), mouse button click (left click, etc.), mouse wheel scroll, or a combination of these options that you select on the Define Modifier window.On-Screen KeyboardToggles the Windows On-Screen Keyboard open and closed.Open/RunOpens or runs the application, file, or a script you choose. When you select Open/Run, the Run Application window appears.Click Browse and select the item.
