I sadly have not yet found a solution. I contacted zoom support for help but their solution (to update zoon, use the clean zoom application and redownload zoom) has not helped. I submitted a report via the zoom software (settings > statistics> send report) and am now awaiting their further instructions.

Hi my Mac Os is working perfect. The microphone test is working perfect. I could able to use my laptop for google meet calls and WhatsApp calls. But unfortunately i could not use zoom. The other side could not receive my audio. I could be able to listen them. I restarted the laptop. I re installed zoom app. Still the problem persist. Can some one help to resolve this?

I just got a new laptop with awesome audio on youtube, music streaming, etc, but Zoom is too quiet when I'm in a call with other people. Zoom volume is maxed, windows volume is maxed, and I open Windows Volume Mixer and Zoom is maxed out there as well. Is there any way to get more volume from the program?

@anon21722796, please fix this bug, it is a known issue for a long time now and happening for a lot of users as reported here. I hate restarting all the files and tabs that I have closed because the pinch and zoom features are not working.

I put together a script that will close zoom (if it isn't in a meeting) when Alt+F4 was pressed or to close it outright if Alt+Ctrl+F4 was pressed, both shortcuts still work normally if zoom isn't the selected window.

It's an ad hoc solution, but it may be helpful for you. You click the Close button, AutoHotKey kills the zoom process. The position pixel numbers 2, 78 and 43 are for my PC, you may need to adjust them to your PC.

For people you don't know AutoHotKey, download it here and install. Then, make a text file with "quit-zoom.ahk" or something like that and paste the code into it. You can put the ahk file in the Windows startup folder.

My AirPods 3rd generation used to work fine on my laptop PC I use for work (Teams, etc.), but the AirPod Pro 3 microphone I had to buy recently simply DOES NOT work on Windows 11. I can only hear the sound. As soon as I activate the microphone, I can't hear any sound anymore. As soon as I select another microphone input, I can hear my music again.

My AirPod Pro 2 mic doesn't not work in either of my Win 11 laptops (Dell & Lenovo), but my last gen AirPod Pros do. Spoke with Apple Support last week and they had me hard reset the new AirPods, and afterwards the mic actually worked when I tested it with Windows sound settings and in Zoom. However, the next day I used them and the mic didn't work again.

Note: Some apps may block sound from being shared for security and privacy reasons. Sharing your screen will also share any notifications on your screen so we recommend turning on Do not Disturb before sharing.

Any faculty, staff, or student with a Zoom account can install the Zoom client on their personal and institutional computers. Zoom must be downloaded as a program on your personal computer (Note: lectern PCs already include the software), and the process is the same for both Windows and Apple machines. Additionally, there are also optional extensions to Chrome and Firefox browsers and apps available on iOS and Android tablets and smartphones.

With any touchscreen tablet, you can connect to a Zoom call directly from the Zoom app on your device and use the whiteboard tool. However, if you have a good Internet connection, we recommend that you also keep the Zoom meeting open on your desktop or laptop computer. This will allow your students to see a more flattering angle of your face and will allow you to more easily control the Zoom meeting.

However, recording a Zoom meeting is not all that straightforward, with some requirements to be met and steps to be followed. This is why we have prepared this guide to walk you through the steps of successfully recording a Zoom meeting, whether on your laptop or mobile devices.

You can now explore all the app features; now that you know how to download and set it up. You can use zoom for online meetings, chat with other contacts, create specific channels, and sync other apps from the App Marketplace.

Most iPad cases mean the iPad is horizontal (landscape), which also fits the most people in a wide shot. But unlike a laptop, which centers the camera on the long edge, the iPad's camera is on the shorter edge... so it's off-center when you do landscape chat.

There's no great fix here, other than video chatting with the iPad in portrait (upright) mode, which means holding the iPad up, most likely. But just make sure to talk while looking at the left edge of the iPad to make it look like you're making eye contact. You could drag the window showing your face to the same part of the screen, making it feel a bit more normal -- but not all apps allow parts of the display to be moved or resized.

Zoom's virtual backgrounds don't always work on laptops, but they're great on iPads. Tap in the settings area to launch virtual backgrounds, then you can pull a photo from your library. Or, take a screenshot of something (press the volume and power button, or the home button and power button) to save a shot and make it your new virtual wallpaper, and don't even worry about what your room looks like.

Some iPad apps allow some split screen. Zoom, however, is a full-screen situation, which means you can't easily open up anything else while Zooming. There is one small workaround: The Slideover tool means you can always drag an app up onto the Zoom window, and it will hover as a window on top of Zoom. Not all apps do this, annoyingly, but try to slide up from the bottom edge of the screen to get the Dock, and then try dragging one of your apps from there, and if it hovers with a long rectangular shape, it'll work. Useful for checking something quickly in email or online, for instance. When you're done, just swipe the Slideover window to the left or right edge of the iPad display it's hovering near to get rid of it.

Zoom has quickly become one of the most used video conference apps in the world, and you might want to record Zoom calls or meetings for various reasons. In this guide, we cover the best desktop screen recorders, as well as mobile Zoom recording apps.

If you're looking for a Zoom meeting recorder, Movavi Screen Recorder is one of the top options to choose. Compatible with both Windows and Mac, this screen recorder is ideal for capturing Zoom calls on your computer or laptop. It has an easy-to-understand interface, with simple one-button recordings and various settings for advanced users to play around with, allowing you to capture your screen, your webcam, your system audio, and external audio from a microphone connected to your device. This Zoom screen recorder also has a built-in editor and can capture in full HD or even 4K resolution.

During a Zoom call, you might not necessarily want to record your entire screen. Instead, you may want to record only a small part of the screen to capture one person's video feed, for example. Icecream Screen Recorder allows you to do this easily. This free-to-try screen-recording app allows users to record any area of the screen with ease, perfect for capturing Zoom calls, but also useful for recording other apps like video games, Skype calls, and so on. It allows you to record your own webcam, in addition to the screen, as well as capture audio from the system or an external source.

Next up, we have Screencapture.com, which is an online screen capture service you can use for recording Zoom calls, Skype calls, and other apps or windows directly in your browser. It runs on all major browsers like Chrome and Firefox, so you don't need to worry about compatibility, and it's one of the simplest screen capture services to use. You can even use it in incognito windows on browsers to protect your privacy, and the service has excellent encryption and data privacy settings to safeguard your recordings and prevent anyone else from accessing them. The only downside is the watermark you get when using the free version.

Mobizen Screen Recorder is one of the most popular apps to use on Android devices, like phones and tablets. Compatible with all recent versions of Android and the vast majority of devices, this handy mobile app can capture videos of your screen in up to 1080p resolution and 60 FPS. It features a simple user interface and no watermarks, but it is supported by ads and in-app purchases, so this is something to take into consideration before you choose to use Mobizen Screen Recorder.

Ease-of-use: It's always best to use apps and programs that suit your level of experience and expertise. If you're a beginner, try to find a beginner-friendly app that won't cause any confusion.

Features: Check to see what kinds of features are offered by each app. Some recording apps come with lots of useful features and extra capabilities, like built-in editors and instant sharing to sites like YouTube and Facebook.

Price: Of course, it's also a good idea to think about the price of each app. Some apps are free to use or have limited free plans for short recordings, while others have premium price tags. Find one that fits your budget. 006ab0faaa
