Once you have successfully installed the driver, depending on your operating system architecture, you will find a dll named libzkfpcsharp.dll either in the Windows/system32 or Windows/syswow64 folder.
The hardware I picked is ZK9500. Unfortunately, it works only for Windows. There is no driver/software to make it works on any operating system such as macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android. That was what I know. Maybe I missed it.

After right-clicking and selecting "Connect (Disconnect from Host)" there was a new device that showed up in Windows Device Manager "Unknown Device" and when opening that treeviewitem I right-clicked and selected "Install driver" and voila!
