I want to have some kind of music playing before the processional music starts. I was thinking something instrumental maybe? Just so it isn't complete silence until the wedding party starts coming in. What did you choose?

I like the idea of instrumental movie soundtrack music though I am not familiar with the music from Harry Potter. Anyone have other favorites? The ones I know tend to be dramatic and dark and I don't want to be all gloomy before the ceremony. Ha. :-)

We had a very classy / elegant feel to our wedding. Pre-ceremony, the guests all heard Vitamin String Quartet playing I told our DJ to keep as romantic as possible and he played stuff from their Valentines Day CD. Our moms were seated to strings, our wedding party walked in to strings, I walked in to strings as well.

Someone posted that they hired the Stringspace String Quartet yesterday, and I FELL IN LOVE WITH THEM. I decided I am gonna download their music to play before the ceremony!! I am usually not a classical music person, but LOVE new songs with the classical sound.

We will have a pianist for the ceremony, and solo piano for probably half an hour beforehand. As a musician and someone who notices music, I can say...it will be awkwardly obvious if you do not have background music for the prelude. I highly recommend it.

I am doing all songs, about 30 minutes worth, by Shane Lee. I "found" him over two years ago on Youtube as a "nobody" while doing a search for Jason Aldean cover songs & he now has two records out & a band too. I'm flying him (& his wife) from GA to WI to surprise my FH. He will sing his song Lets See How It Ends (live) when I walk down the aisle.

One thing most clients forget when compiling there playlist is background music. In our eyes, this is certainly as important as the music for peak time. Background music sets the mood for the event and furthermore warms things up for the rest of the evening. Like a club DJ playing a warmup set, the act of warming up a crowd is as important as the main event.

Wedding Ceremony

Your wedding ceremony is a great place to input songs that are unique to your style as a couple. Music for this part of the wedding is generally played 20 minutes prior to the wedding start time, during guest arrival. The songs you select should be conducive to a wedding ceremony, with a subtle feel. Remember, the ceremony gives guests the first impression of your wedding day.

We had a couple that loved Metallica, but this is not a type of music that is conducive to a wedding. However, we found that Vitamin String Quartet had several cover versions of their songs in classical renditions. Incorporating these songs made the wedding ceremony unique to this couple!

Dinner

We recommend starting dinner off with a few slow songs, to help transition the atmosphere to sitting down for dinner. Towards the middle or end of the meal, incorporating upbeat music will start the transition to dancing that will take place afterwards.

Chilled-out, calming music is the key to a relaxing atmosphere when crafting the best songs to play during a wedding breakfast. This will help get your guests in the mood to chat, drink, and laugh, and give them a breather between the ceremony and the rest of the celebrations.

The basic rules of wedding breakfast music are to keep it slow and low - a chilled vibe, if you will. Before a night of celebrations with loud music, you'll likely want to create an atmosphere that's mellow and relaxed. You can do this by reducing the volume to a level where guests can easily talk and hear each other.

If you plan on having a live wedding band or DJ, soft acoustic covers are the way to go, with a single instrument and a simple backing track. Why not save your favourite songs for dancing until your evening reception, and create a playlist that'll appeal to guests of all ages as you eat breakfast?

Having a vintage '50s and '60s theme? Go for jazz and lounge covers of Elvis, Motown, and the Rat Pack. A country garden wedding would suit classical music by a solo harpist. A folk band covering Mumford and Sons or Ed Sheeran is perfect for a festival-style or rustic wedding. You could also listen to someone cover the likes of Adele and Amy Winehouse.

At Hitched, we have countless talented musicians and bands who would be honoured to be the soundtrack to every part of your special day, especially the all-important wedding breakfast. We asked talented wedding band The Velvet Notes from Leicester a few questions on creating the perfect playlist during your relaxing wedding breakfast.

Talking about the main considerations for a wedding breakfast playlist, The Velvet Notes said, "Couples should take into consideration the overall ambience they'd like for their guests. When it comes to selecting songs to play, couples should imagine being in a movie scene."

If you enjoyed building your own wedding breakfast playlist from scratch, you'll surely love finding musical inspiration for other parts of your wedding day with the help of Hitched. Delve right in and get started with these getting ready songs for the wedding morning or this playlist of the best last dance wedding songs to ensure you end the night on a high.

Country music is a must if you are planning a western or a country-style wedding. It is definitely a part of the vibe for a rustic or boho wedding. But even if your big day is a classic white wedding with no definite theme, the country is perfect for wedding reception dinner music. Music will add to the general atmosphere of the event, creating the right mood. Country music can be a great addition to your list of wedding songs.

ocktail hour songs are usually soft compositions that play as a background while your guests enjoy snacks and conversation. As you are going to be away, it is absolutely necessary to think about cocktail hour wedding music well in advance. Remember, the purpose of the cocktail hour is to buy you and your bridal party time while you arrive at the reception site. What does it mean? The mood is essential. Choose the most romantic music, something, that will get to the hearts and souls of your guests and gives them this ultimately romantic vibe. This kind of music will prepare them for your arrival.

And always remember, that it is your wedding, so you are the one to make the final decision on all the small details. So choose the wedding dinner music you like and enjoy your special day to the fullest!

There is no universal type of license that can be suitable for all videographers and content creators. The licenses differ depending on how and what you plan to use the music and what you use it for. Today we will talk about the most widespread options.

Usually, popular music sites or platforms ask you to pay once and will grant you lifetime access to their music. Also, there are music platforms offering stock music that you can use in your videos for free or nearly free.

Audiio is an exciting, fairly new online music licensing library. The company has offices in Delaware and Tennessee and has attracted some serious music talents, independent artists, and commercial composers to its platform. Audiio offers an annual subscription to its music and SFX library and also provides lifetime membership packages. However, canceling your subscription will allow you to continue using the tracks you have already downloaded.

Soundstripe is one of the best services for finding and licensing free music online without overpaying per song. The price for an annual subscription is quite reasonable, and their background music library consists of quality content that suits all genres and moods. Soundstripe is great for wedding videographers who want quality, royalty-free music libraries without spending a ton of money.

Artlist is a stock music service offering a huge library of free tracks and sound effects that can be licensed for all types of video projects. The main goal of this company is to provide high-quality sound for creators of all levels. This company aims to bridge the gap between low-quality, cheap music sites and expensive, high-tier services.

Envato Elements is a great value for the money. This site combines affordable prices, a good selection of music, the ability to easily cancel a subscription, and reasonable licensing terms. This service does not limit the number of products you can use during the year, which sets it apart from its competitors.

AudioJungle is a royalty-free music website created in 2008 and is a part of the Envato Market. This service offers a fairly large selection of music and sound effects. Users can filter music by genre, mood, BPM (beats for minute), price, or tempo. In addition, AudioJungle provides weekly and yearly lists of the top-selling songs in every genre.

We work with the first two music platforms: Musicbed and Audiio. So, we license all songs that our editors use in wedding films. These music libraries are quite large, and you can find songs for any musical taste there.

However, if you want a song that is not presented on Musicbed or Audiio and you are using a different music library where you paid for the licensing, we will use it in your wedding video without any problem.

Stock music represents the largest segment of the music licensing market. The advantages of this type are the availability in all styles and, most importantly, low price. For up to $50, you will receive a song for your videos. Sometimes inexpensive access to music is the only way to meet the budget.

To avoid legal issues and copyright infringement when using copyrighted music, you will need to obtain permission to use the music directly from the copyright holder. Keep in mind that there is often more than one copyright holder for a song. Music libraries like Musicbed and Audiio can be a great solution to this issue.

As a general rule, you must always obtain permission from the owner before using their music. Simply crediting the author will not save you from copyright infringement, especially since the author may not be the copyright owner. Getting licenses and songs from music libraries like Musicbed and Audiio will help. 152ee80cbc
