We are a group of users dedicated to continuing viva project as a free and open source game under the name "OpenViva". Our goal is to polish 0.8.03 and replace any and all third party paid assets with either free or custom assets. All assets and scripts are be available to anyone who wants to download them or fork the project on our GitHub. If you have any questions or want to help us, you can join our community on Discord.

A team of researchers from the Observatory for Urban Health in Belo Horizonte at the Federal University of Minas Gerais has been evaluating the health impact of Vila Viva in several informal settlements in Belo Horizonte since 2012, through the BH-Viva Research Project, a multiphase and multimethod supported by multiple funds. The third phase of this evaluation project, funded by SALURBAL, began in 2018.

This project will provide evidence of how Vila Viva and other similar interventions might affect health and wellbeing. This evidence can then guide the design and implementation of similar future interventions to maximize their positive impact on community residents.

Learn from Central America: Kuna children's art workshops, a community television station in Nicaragua, a cultural marketplace in Guadalajara, Mexico, community mural production in Chiapas; and from North America: arts education in Los Angeles inner-city schools, theater probing ancestral memory, community plays with over one hundred participants, and training programs for young artists in Canada. These practices offer critical hope for movements hungry for new ways of knowing and expressing histories, identities, and aspirations, as well as mobilizing communities for social transformation.

Once curation for a discipline is complete, Virginia faculty are invited to review OER for the quality of explanation of the subject matter, comprehensiveness, and cultural relevance in consideration for the courses they have been mapped to. An endorsement is applied to faculty-reviewed OER and standardized comments are shared through the hub. Faculty reviews of curated OER are an essential component to the project as faculty bring expertise and deep understanding of the curriculum and course materials that support student learning. The reviews also provide an opportunity to engage with a cohort of faculty from varying Virginia higher education institutions on their experiences reviewing OER.

With a PhD in Sociology, she has been a research fellow at IRPPS-CNR on the ViVa project since 2018, working on the WP2, WP4, WP5 and WP6 activities. During her studies and professional career, she has paid particular attention to the theoretical and practical aspects of both quantitative and qualitative sociological survey methodologies and techniques. The competences gained in this sector have enabled her to take up various appointments with universities and public and private institutes, to research, monitor and evaluate public policies, mainly in the following areas: gender studies, health and disability, drug addiction, immigration, policies for the elderly and young people.

With a PhD in Gender Studies from the University of London School of Oriental and African Studies and a degree in Law, she has been a research fellow at the IRPPS-CNR as part of the ViVa project since 2019. During her studies, she investigated topics relating to gender issues, with particular reference to democratization and empowerment processes in the Middle East and specifically in Jordan. Following her PhD, she has mainly dealt with violence against women and empowerment processes, working alongside private social associations, European institutions and as technical-scientific assistant to the public administrations.

PhD in Social Sciences, she deals with gender studies, sociology of the family and migrations. She has worked on research projects on gender-based violence against women, investigating the topics of recognition processes, specific issues connected to the migratory experience, and representations and definitions of violence. She has been a post-doc researcher and lecturer at the University of Padua. In her study and professional activities, she has applied different, in particular qualitative methodological tools to sociological analysis. She has been a research fellow at IRPPS-CNR as part of the ViVa project since 2018, and is involved in the WP1, WP3 and WP4 activities.

PhD in Sociology, she deals with gender studies. She has worked for the Council of Europe Violence Against Women Division (GREVIO). She is currently a post-doctoral scholar at the University of Strasbourg carrying out research on perpetrators in France and Italy. She carried out research activities as part of the ViVa project in the period 2018/2019 and was involved in the WP4 activities.
