I'm working on a project that captures a screenshot of a widget and saves it in gallery.my problem is there is few save to gallery packages in flutter and I tries almost all of them!they save images as jpg which adds extra black bars around my widget which I don't want them to be there.is there any package to save images to gallery in PNG format?

You can save image to gallery by using Image_gallery_saver plugin.image_gallery_saver. For the black bars , you have to make sure that the screenshot is attached to the widget , what you want it image.

@Hi @Simplysim20. All you have to do is go into build mode with the lot you want to save. Then at the top of your screen there should be a button that says "Save Lot". Select this, then select "save", and it should be in your library.

No that's not the right one. I mean that's one way but it only saves the "lot" n then you have to place it everytime. There has to be a way to actually save your game to where it just resumes where your at on the lot you've already chosen.

I had a similar issue. I would check past dates to see if they were saved with an old date. Mine were taken in May and had a date in March. I had to scroll through several hundred photos/videos to locate them. I hope this helps. At least in my instance, I think it has something to do with the phone being powered off with airplane mode active and starting up in the same way. I guess the phone got confused about the date and time. You can update the dates to the actual date they were taken under the file's info. This will put it back in sequence on your album.

I have an s22 and here recently it's been really slow and lagging but now can't save photos to the gallery. It takes them but when u try to view them it's a gray screen wit an ! And I click details it says unsupported file format an the date is Dec 31 1969 any ideas why

some more insight on how the app works, would definitely be helpful, but from what i understand, the thing missing is that you need to assign that image in a variable and even save the file path so you are able to access it any time in the future, because now when you close the app and you reopen it the app doesnt know what image you chose before.

yeah, so as i imagined, after picking the image, you need to store it somehow, so the app knows what images you have chosen in the past.

one way is to store the local file path, you can get that from the output of the pick image logic, or an other way, would be to store the image in the locale storage (you can see how to do that in the forum) but this way, you store an image that is already stored. the advantage, is that if you store in in the device storage, even if the image is deleted from the phone gallery, your app will have the image saved.
