So my wife was trying to send me a photo by viber, and she accidentally sent it to someone else, to avoid confusion she went to delete the message/photo she sent and she chose "delete for everyone". And suddenly that photo is just completely gone from her phone, like it's not even in the recently deleted photos in her gallery. Also she took that photo with that phone.

We both have android phones and I checked our settings and they're relatively the same on both phones. I couldn't even find any kind of setting that would lead to deleting a photo message that also deletes the original photo on your phone.

When I travel internationally for business in 2012 Oct, I called prior to my trip to turn on the international calling feature on only for specific time frame, then I had requested to turn off the date that I was back to States. Verizon customer only changed me the monthly international feature on the specific date range that I had requested. But international calling feature was on for "FREE" without my knowledge by Verizon. Because of that I do not want internationally calling feature on in my phone even for "free". I used Viber, Skype to call my personal calls, I don't want Verizon network to accidentally pick up or being charge on Verizon network for my personal calls. This was why I never want international feature even for FREE. Verizon had put the free international feature without my consent.

Oldest son overseas & need to communicate freely & regularly. Downloaded Viber on my Iphone, it worked for a day UNTIL I synced my IPOD to my Itunes. Viber then appeared on IPOD. Entered the code etc & it worked on Ipod BUT VIBER on IPHONE wanted me to put in codes as though l was just setting it up. Followed all prompts but VIBER kept telling me "INVALID PHONE NUMBER"

I have been using Viber for almost ten years on many devices (including Blackberries, Android phones and tablets, Windows and Linux PCs). I downloaded viber.deb from and tried to install it using gdebi. On installation it showed that the libssl1.0.0 is missing, so I downloaded and installed libssl1.0.0_1.0.2n-1ubuntu6.2_amd64.deb, libssl1.0-dev_1.0.2n-1ubuntu6.2_amd64.deb and openssl1.0_1.0.2n-1ubuntu6.2_amd64.deb. After that I succesfully installed and activated viber on my laptop so I tried to make a call but it never gets to ringing, just stuck on calling.

I tried editing dependencies in viber/DEBIAN/control and changed libssl1.0.0 to libssl1.1 (following instructions from Ubuntu 18.04 Unable to install Viber ) with the same end result- still not able to make a call.

I had the same issue. At&t representative said using any 3rd party app to make an international call can be considered a regular call if the wifi signal is weak. In other words, they do know if you are using viber. My bill was over $1000 and we only used viber via "good" wifi to make the call. Something is not right.

There is a new issue reported on Viber 4.1.1 version app that it is being identified as unknown-udp. Palo alto team is working on it. Packet captures of application traffic can be taken and shared to palo alto team through a case to better identify the app traffic as it was earlier before. Hello all! - I am going to Europe for 2 months, and so I am getting my cell phone service suspended for the duration. I have WiFi so I can still access my emails and use Skype (and I have credit) so I am set, however I was wondering if applications like WhatsApp or Viber will work. I called AT&T (my carrier) and they said yes, they will work. But these apps are registered to my cell phone number, and while they use WiFi and not my cellular service, if it's my number that identifies my account, and that number is suspended, how can it work? Is it SIM card based and as long as the SIM is active, it's ok? I want to believe the guy, but have my doubts. Has anyone had experience in this area? Thanks!

Right - one must have WhatsApp to communicate with me. Many of my friends have it, but many don't, and the most important people (my parents and other members of my family) do not. That is why I jumped on HeyWire, but without FaceBook, it's a no-go. It's hard finding apps sometimes because with a Windows phone it can be very limiting.
