The Shutterfly address book supports imports from .csv files, but not exports. I've created a program that overcomes this limitation, and published it on GitHub in case other users might find it helpful.

The Python3 program requests a user's full address book (contacts) and loads it into a dataframe. The configuration file allows manipulation of which columns are output and in which sort order. The list is saved in an output .csv file, for opening with Excel, Google Sheets, or other compatible applications.

After the dark art of printing the mailing labels, what follows is a relatively straightforward process. I place two mailing labels (addressee and return address) on the envelope, stamp it, and lick it shut. We used to have everything in Outlook, but you know, things get messy. We ended up making an Excel Spreadsheet that ended up on the web as a Google Spreadsheet. We pulled addresses in from all over, Evites, emails, old envelopes, whatever. The goal was/is to collect all the times. We used the really simple format Name, Street, and one single CityStateZip field, rather than splitting things up with the whole City, State, Zip.
