Wi-Fi calling isn't included with TravelPass. Wi-Fi calling to a country other than the US is charged international long distance rates regardless of whether or not you have an international travel plan.

No, you don't need to cancel TravelPass when you return to the US. TravelPass only triggers a daily charge when you use your device while traveling outside the US in a TravelPass country.

So you can leave TravelPass on your account for no charge and it will be ready to activate a new 24-hour session the next time you travel abroad.

Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter the United States by accessing the Global Entry processing technology at selected airports.

Travelers must be pre-approved for the Global Entry program. All applicants undergo a rigorous background check and in-person interview before enrollment. If a traveler was unable to schedule an interview at an Enrollment Center prior to their international travel, they have an option to complete their interview via Enrollment on Arrival upon their arrival to the United States.

Another upcoming processing technology option for travelers will be the Global Entry Mobile App. This app will enable members to validate their arrival to the U.S. on their iOS or Android device prior to entering the Federal Inspection Services area.

* Prices are for 12-year-olds or over. Children under 11 years of age enjoy a 50% discount. Under-4s travel for free on the metro and the bus and under 6s on the Cercanas commuter train.

Hi! My group of friends and I will be travelling Europe for around 22 days before the start of school and I was wondering if I should get the Eurail Global pass AND Swiss travel pass OR just the Eurail one. A rough schedule would be:

Assuming you are travelling most days a 22 day continuous pass seems a realistic option at $371 compared with the 10 days in 2 months at $287 where you have to count the travel days.

However if you were to go for the 7 days in a month plus the 3 day Swiss pass it would cost over $400 and limit you to 7 travel days or about $450 dollars for 10+3.

You can travel much of Switzerland with a Global pass but need extra for mountain and panoramic coaches in some trains.

One word of advice, make sure you check availability of Eurostar trains as pass holder seats are limited and can require a lot of flexibility to choose suitable journeys.

The main difference between the Eurail Global pass and the Swiss Travel pass is that the Swiss Travel pass includes all post busses, local transport is all cities, free entance to many museums and 50 % discount instead of 25 % discount on the travels in the Jungfrau-region.

I did this before. It does make sense if you plan to take some expensive trips that are not included with EURAIL but are included with your SwissPass (e.g. boat and cogwheel train trip from Lucerne, alps passes by bus, mountain trip from Interlaken).

If you are a member of a science center or museum participating in the ASTC Passport Program, you are eligible for benefits such as free general admission when you travel outside of your local area. Exclusions apply and benefits vary.

I found it easer to just show the train conductors the paper copy of the Pass and photo copy of my passport. That way, i could leave the papers on the table and did not have to worry about fiddling around with my phone when the conductors walked by.

Hi! I do not have a customer number for my Swiss Travel Pass either. How do you purchase the discounted tickets for trains and lifts that are only 50% covered, such as Gornergrat? Are you able to get the discount on the SBB app or you have to purchase the ticket at the counter? I am trying to purchase in advance and it only gives me the full price on the app. Can I make regular train reservations early or just hop on? We are a family of 5 and want to make sure there is space on certain trains the time of day we'd like to travel.

The aim of the Travel Pass Scheme is to enhance the mobility of business travellers by facilitating bona fide frequent visitors to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR). The Travel Pass is a machine readable document with 32 pages. It is valid for 3 years and good for multiple entries to the HKSAR for a stay of 2 months each trip. The holder of a Travel Pass will be allowed to use Hong Kong resident counters and the immigration clearance procedures will be simplified.

Frequent visitors who hold valid passports and are eligible to come to the HKSAR without a visa or entry permit for visit purpose may apply for HKSAR Travel Pass. Applicants should have genuine needs to visit the HKSAR frequently, and have come for visits trouble-free on 3 or more occasions (other than return from side trips to the Mainland of China or the region of Macao) in the 12-month period immediately preceding the application, or can satisfy the Director of Immigration that their visits may bring substantial benefits to the HKSAR. The Director of Immigration reserves the right not to issue a HKSAR Travel Pass even if the criteria stated above are fulfilled.

Applicant may collect his/her Travel Pass either in person or authorise a representative to collect it on his/her behalf. Upon collection, the applicant or his/her authorised representative must produce his/her original valid passport for inspection if this has not been done when he/she submits the application. Applicant must use his/her Travel Pass together with his/her valid passport for arrival and departure clearance at control points in the HKSAR.

The seat reservation is obligatory and will be levied on anyone travelling by the Glacier Express. The fee must be paid in full by all passengers, including children and ohters holding discount travel passes. This does not apply to children under six who do not require a seat. How ever we strongly recommend to reserve a seat for long trips. In the Excellence Class, a seat reservation is mandatory for every traveler, regardless of age. Holders of all TCV and Eurail passes must also pay the fee. e24fc04721
