Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is a five-issue comic book miniseries published by IDW Publishing. The series is written by Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz, based on a story by Eastman and Peter Laird, and drawn by Esau and Isaac Escorza, Ben Bishop, and Eastman. The story follows characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise in an alternative future, wherein the last remaining turtle seeks to avenge the death of his brothers by killing the grandson of one of the Turtles' arch-enemies, the Shredder. Despite being published by IDW, it is unconnected to the IDW series' continuity and is set in its own universe, dubbed the "Roninverse".

So I've heard pretty much nothing but absolute Praise on the last Ronin comic series. I was planning on getting into it but for some reason I realized that there's apparently a director's cut of the comic book? This is the first time I'm ever hearing a director's cut of a comic book. What's the difference between the regular version and the director's cut version?

The hood and the bandana piece both plug into a hole in the back of the head and can be swapped between the two heads. I love the way the hood works as it moves well with the head and sits on there perfectly. The goggles have an elastic band and can be worn on the eyes or look great around the neck.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles creator Kevin Eastman explains why Michelangelo is the Last Ronin and gives an update on the highly anticipated video game. The Last Ronin was originally a five-issue miniseries published by IDW beginning in October 2020. Michelangelo, the last of his family, returns to New York to avenge his brothers and father while also attempting to free the city. He runs into April O'Neil and meets her daughter, a resistance fighter. While it began as a miniseries, The Last Ronin continued with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin - Lost Years and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin II - Re-Evolution.

For Michelangelo in particular, the march to his heartbreaking last battle was long and dangerous, taking him from New York City, to Japan, across Asia and Europe, and then back home again to administer final justice against those guilty of killing his family. But what happened during those fateful years when he had only the need for vengeance and Master Splinter's journal to guide him? What battles did he fight? What hard lessons did he learn? The time has come to find out as original miniseries writers Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz join artist Ben Bishop to reveal what adventures the Last Ronin experienced during his vengeful journey. While in the present, a new master, Casey Marie Jones, prepares her young terrapin students to be the next generation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

If you're expecting the typical jolly TMNT experience with The Last Ronin, then you're in for a bit of a shock. Based on the comic of the same name by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza Brothers, The Last Ronin is one of the more darker stories in the series, and has you playing as the last surviving Turtle who is seeking revenge for the family that they've lost.

Unfortunately, this new trailer didn't bring with it a release date or even a release window. In fact, it was so slim and lacking in detail that all we know is that the game is officially in development and is being made by Black Forest Games, the developers of Fade to Silence and the recent Destroy All Humans! remasters. We also know that The Last Ronin appears to be skipping last-gen consoles, as the game will only release for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.

Given that we still don't have a release window of any kind just yet, or even any gameplay to pore over, we can assume that The Last Ronin is still a few years away at best, which would also explain the lack of last-gen console support. In fact, this was also backed up by Doug Rosen, senior vice president for games and emerging media at Paramount Global, who said earlier this year the The Last Ronin is still a "few years out".

Elsewhere in the THQ Nordic Showcase, we also saw a new trailer for Outcast 2, though it seems to have undergone a name change since it was last shown off. Ahead of the release of the trailer, the developer told us that it has decided to drop the "2" from the game's title to try and persuade as many newcomers as possible to check the game out. ff782bc1db
