The New York Times said, "Molly Shannon (gives) a selfless, robust performance."[5] The Austin Chronicle said, "The Big Chill by way of Woody Allen, Noah Baumbach, and your high school glee club!"[6] Movie Web said, "The Big Chill for this generation that will have audiences laughing from start to finish."[7] Parental guidance group Common Sense Media rated the film 2 out of 5 stars, due to "a fair amount of 'locker room' talk, as well as drinking and smoking (both cigarettes and pot)."[8] The Los Angeles Times called it, "A breezy, well-paced diversion."

We are Marc and Brenda Bergreen, a husband and wife photography team specializing in outdoor weddings and other adventures. Capturing people in nature and the mountain lifestyle is a passion that became a dream that became a life.

Daughters of Zion is a newer household and we celebrated five years this year which meant we had our very first reunion and it was so much fun to be reunited with the current sisters as well as so many graduated sisters. I brought my camera and took a few pictures throughout the weekend! Several of my past wedding couples were here and it was fun to see them again.

Samantha & Stephen were one of my 2017 couples! (You might remember their gorgeous summer country club wedding). They now have an absolutely adorable little baby boy and it was so fun to catch up with them and to meet their precious baby.

This adventuring couple, Emma & Andrew, were a great fit for us for so many reasons. They happen to be from the DC area and Andrew is an architect! Why does that matter? It just does. Their amazing wedding planner, EKS Events, who we met in Dubai at an Engage Summit, connected us to Emma & Andrew.

That brings us to Friday, the rehearsal dinner at the Viceroy in Snowmass. In true Emma and Andrew style, the dinner was a casual party under a beautiful sailcloth tent. Tons of lawn games, picnic style food and Contra-dancing were the highlights of the evening. All set with the beautiful backdrop of the Colorado mountains.

The couple, from California, are getting married at the lovely The Little Nell in Aspen. We linked up with them during one of their wedding planning trips in October. We all kept our fingers crossed that the Aspen trees would stay in their full fall foliage. There is a narrow gap between a brilliant yellow background and dead sticks in the mountains but luck was on our side.

After getting comfortable with each other, we all headed up the pass to look for some scenic spots along the way. Being Colorado, there were many! And we were able to get a variety of backgrounds and some really sweet moments between these two.

We also encouraged the couple to plan for a couple different outfits. They started out with him in a casual slack and shit look. And she wore a classic simple black dress and an adorable hat (it is Colorado after all!). We finished up the shoot with a more formal look but still mountain appropriate. He wore a jacket and she wore a stunning pleated skirt that pop with all of the mountain green.

This couple lives in St. Louis, Missouri. So you might ask how do we know them and how did we end up photographing their Aspen, Colorado wedding? We know this sweet couple through our lovely friends, Kate & Co, incredible wedding planners in St. Louis. Kate & Co helped pull together this elopement for the couple in less than 3 weeks! Talk about rockstar planners!

We were lucky enough to score not only a parking pass but a beautiful day for a wedding! K&B said their vows nestled among the trees next to a beautiful stream. After the ceremony, we took K&B around the Maroon Bells for more portraits. And, of course, a champagne toast.

As for finding a perfect location for photos, there were so many great trails in Frisco that we had our pick of the bunch. We hiked in just past the trail entrance and found a great clearing for photos. After this shoot, I know I need to work on my hiking skills. But maybe not after a night of reconnecting with friends!

Our design concept for the Las Hermosas Flores, an elopement style wedding shoot at The Broadmoor, came from an exploration of Hispanic culture and its integration into the American West. Spanish and Mexican culture has been an integral part of the American West for centuries. The influence dates back to 1694 with the first expeditions into the western region. For this styled shoot with Enjou Studio Event Design & Decor House, we wanted to create a visual story of the unique and rich traditions that set the Hispanic culture apart while working in the beautiful colors and textures.

Kara of Enjou Studio crated a color palette of black, brown, cobalt blue, warm pastels, and subtle pops of bright colors. Each color pulled meaning from a part of Mexican culture and tradition. The blacks and browns were reminiscent of dark and heavy wood used in Southwestern adobe buildings. Secondly, the cobalt blue was a symbol of Talavera pottery. The pottery was first introduced in the 15th century by Spanish settlers. It was later developed into the art form you see today. You most commonly see the pottery today as in tile and tableware created in Mexico.

For the intimate dinner, a wood carved chandelier accented by flower garlands was centered over the table as a statement piece. The table, set in an inviting outdoor space, was elevated, yet approachable. Kara set the foundation for the design with three handwoven table runners and black oval chairs.

Furthermore, for a special touch after the wedding ceremony, we created a custom tequila bar for the bride and groom. Kara used the bar to pull in the black and brown colors of the day. She also accented the bar with a handmade cobalt blue and white table runner from Mexico. Above all, the bar featured a painted tequila bottle and top-shelf tequila brands ready for tasting.

The Broadmoor is a stunning wedding venue in Colorado. In short, we were grateful to be able to use the space to bring this inspired shoot to life and we could not have done it without an amazing group of vendors!

We arrived in the early cold November morning at 5:00 am in the empty parking lot and got bundled up and ready for the hike. Excitement was buzzing in the air as we set off into the dark night to begin our hike up into the mountains. When we arrived at Devil's Bridge in Sedona, we were alone and it was still dark, with the bright stars twinkling in the inky black sky.

Kristin and Randy changed into their outfits while joking and helping each other, a special moment before the start of their special day!As the sun rose over the mountain and began lighting up the valley it was such a special moment to be just the three of us at such a stunning and popular location. We climbed around capturing some stunning shots. Randy and Kristin were up for anything and there's nothing more fun than adventuring with such an adventurous and down-for-anything couple!

Finally, as we were climbing back down we found a beautiful platform where they shared their first dance as the sun shone down on them and lit up the valley. What a perfect and special day!
