I use Android phone and I love the feature that you can tap and hold on the Telegram icon and the frequent/recent contacts will be shown where you can tap on it and go straight to the chat room. You can also tap and hold on that person and drag to the home screen to make a shortcut to chat with that person. This was very convenient and saved me a few taps.

However, since the launch of Telegram Premium, this feature is gone. Now tapping and holding the icon will show only Android's native shortcuts like App info. No more shortcuts to chat with a person.

The problem is that I like Breeze colors and I do not want to change it. Additionally, I noticed the problem is with /usr/share/color-schemes/Breeze.colors because when I change ForegroundNormal=35,38,39 from [Colors:Window] tag to ForegroundNormal=239,240,241 that is the value used in BreezeDark.colors the icon is changed to white but I get other color problems. Now looking for a solution.

Also I tried replacing all Telegram icons in /usr/share/icons/breeze/status/22 and /usr/share/icons/breeze/status/24 by /usr/share/icons/breeze-dark/status/22 and /usr/share/icons/breeze-dark/status/24 and nothing changed.

File telegram.svg contains classic icon with blue background and white airplane, so I use it for fix. Open telegram.svg in any text redactor, copy whole content and paste it in all files telegram-panel.svg (instead of original content of these files).

I installed telegram-desktop from the official repositories. I can launch it from the terminal without problems. But in the launcher menu, I can't find the icon. This is what I get from the terminal when I launch it:

This open source icon is named "telegram" and is licensed under the open source CC0 license. It's a colored icon. It's available to be downloaded in SVG and PNG formats (available in 256, 512, 1024 and 2048 PNG sizes).

It's part of the icon set "Brand Icons by Ryan DiMascio", which has 291 icons in it.

This graphic is also a logo. It's useful if you want to show the logo (for branding purposes) on your website or app.

If you need this icon available in another format, it should be pretty straight forward to download it as an SVG image file, and then import it into apps like Easil, Illustrator, Photoshop or RelayThat. I am building an application in which we can share post on social media too. I am using react-share-social. "facebook", "twitter", "linkedin" and a few icons are displaying but "whatsapp" and "telegram" icons are not displaying on web page. I tried just same as npm react-share-social documentation.

I have a version of my CV which compiles successfully and includes lots of modifications such as a second address line, inclusion of several icons from Font Awesome such as Whatsapp and Skype, etc. However, my attempts to include a Telegram icon don't seem to work. In the "\addresstwo" line (line #87) I can show a MWE of Whatsapp working just fine. When I try to change it to the line just below, I compile with error messages and no icon. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1.

The theme uses an icon font for its social icons. Did you modify this icon font or loaded your own icon font to add the extra icon for Telegram?

Without it, CSS is insufficient to perform such a change.

Eye icon with number: The eye icon denotes the view counter. The number next to it represents the number of times the message, media file, etc. has been viewed. This is approximate and includes multiple views from the same person and forwarded copies. You will only see it in groups.

Paper clip icon: The paper clip icon in the message section, both in DMs and group chats, is for attachments. Tap on it once to take a photo, choose from the gallery, share your location or contact, or send a file.

2. Plus icon: Tap on the plus icon in the emoji window to add sets of stickers to select from the next time you want to send stickers. Tap on the Add button to add the entire set. You can also search for them using the search bar up top.

Pin with three bars icon: Tapping on that icon will reveal all the posts or announcements that the admin has made in the channel/group. Admin may remove or change pinned posts as and when he/she chooses to.

Down arrow with number: The number represents the number of messages that currently remain unread. As you scroll down and read more messages, the number will decrease in real-time. Tap on the arrow icon to read the last message. You will skip all the unread messages but Telegram will assume they are read.

Telegram has a lot of cool features that other messaging apps miss which is one major reason behind its success. You can create huge groups and channels to manage your following and make announcements. WhatsApp is good for personal usage but Telegram is awesome to manage brand/company followers or customers. As such, there are some new and unknown icons and symbols that you may not know the meaning of. Well, now you do.

8. Telegram will give you the option to upload an icon for your sticker pack. If you choose to do so, the icon must be 100 x 100 pixels. This isn't required, though, so if you want to skip this step, just type "/skip" (without quotation marks) into the message bar and tap the blue arrow.

After the update to Telegram version 7 (which has also introduced a video calling alpha), the app automatically starts popping up in bubbles for many people using the current Android 11 beta. Some even see a short introduction to the feature, with the OS telling them that "new conversations appear as floating icons, or bubbles. Tap to open bubble. Drag to move it."

Unfortunately, bubbles are still unstable for some, and a few of our tipsters have reported that all of their keyboard apps force close when they try to write a message in the new interface. Some group chats and bots also won't have their proper profile images attached to them, showing only the generic Telegram icon in the bubble. Let's hope that Google and Telegram will fix these quirks before Android 11 goes stable.

If you don't like the bubbles at all, you can deactivate them by holding the Telegram icon in your launcher, tapping the i symbol to go to app info, choosing Notifications, and then Bubbles. In there, you can select your preference (see screenshot on the right above).

6. Telegram will let you choose your custom emoji to be used as the icon for this emoji set. If you /skip this, Telegram will use the first emoji you added to this set. You will also need to give a short name to this emoji set. ff782bc1db
