Hello! Im stuck on an endless single draft games because of Dota always crashing on me. Its a very inconsistent crash because it sometimes happen, it crashed mid game or at the start of a game. The error that shows are Schema (when crashing at start) and steamsupport or whatnot (when crashes at the middle of a game) I already reinstalled dota and steam but the crash still happens. Idk what to do and am tired of only playing single draft. (It doesnt crash on other games, only dota2) My rig is a b450m, ryzen 5 5600g, a rx 6700xt, and 16gbs of ram. Any help is appreciated!

I've tried to search for one but people keep telling me to seek professional help, is there a software or something that can block steam for a certain period of time of the day?

I have a lot of work ;-; and I can't afford to boot up Ultrakill every single time I feel like I deserved a break.

The government just announced an increased on taxes for buying stuff outside the country to a whooping 155% meaning that if you want to buy a game that's $30 US dollars you're actually paying $76.5 So yeah I'll have to pirate all my games from now on, which is sad, because alot of games I wanted to buy are on sale on steam but do to everything going on I can't even afford a $5 game

The situation went as follows, about 3 months ago I moved countries from Germany to the UAE, 6 weeks ago I went on a Holiday trip to Turkey. I played a few games here and there and thus logged into steam with a different IP / locations but the same Laptop. A few days ago I sold a skin of mine worth $500 and ended up buying cases, 2 days ago my account got restricted.

I think it's better. A lot of stuff just didn't work before the newest update. I couldn't go back to previous pages without steam going bonkers. The new messages/announcement works better since previously I'd always have over 100 notifications for things I tried to unfollow but it wouldn't let me.

26th of November 2014 I purchased a Flip Knife Blue steel from a guy for 20 Keys. At the time, I could make an easy 2 Key profit on this Knife, Thought nothing of it and moved on. Hour later, a different guy adds me. Dude claims I stole his Knife, The flip blue steel. I explained to him that I purchased the Knife from another guy for 20 keys. I showed him a screenshot of the trade. He was very rude and abusive and eventually started threatening me and my family with his "German skinhead gang". I kindly told the guy that I couldn't give him a Knife I paid 20 keys for, And I told him to write a message to steam support and I'd do the same. The guy just threw more threats and abuse at me, So I deleted him.

I reopen my ticket that I sent, In which steam support closed without a response explaining that my account has now been wrongfully banned and they reply immediately saying If I've been scammed they can't do anything about it. What the hell?

The issue is happening since yesterday, I thought it was something to do with Gfn having temporary issues connecting to steam or maybe steam went down, but it seems that my gfn is actually frozen in bugness and I probably need to do something to fix it.

Some videos suggest I delete the userdata folder in the steam folder, but idk how to do that in gfn, is there a way to reset a gfn game environment instance so that it starts clean again without deleting steam cloud saves?

My PS4 Controller was working on Friday, but then since I turned my PC on Saturday, the controller is no longer recognized by Steam. I have it connected via USB, and I see it as a USB controller in Windows Game Controllers list. I even see it registering the buttons I press. But steam no longer is recognizing it when I'm in games, and it no longer sees it in the controller configuration. Steam will recognize my Fightstick however.

I have also plugged my controller into another PC and steam recognizes it on that PC. The only difference that I am aware of is that the 2nd PC (where it works) hasn't had the most recent windows 10 update while PC1 (problem one) has.

First time purchasing software from steam and I am little bit confused

So from my understanding, I will get updates till end of the year and then we can still work with the software but no more updates, right?

I was planning to buy subscription first but thats too expensive for me (as I only need SP and SD) and I have worked with Substance Painter and Designer before on student license so I really cant go use any other software for textures now XD

Also please let me know it theres any downside or anything else as I cant find anything online related to steam purchases online

I play this game called World of Warships. I got kicked out of a game and had a message say "Error connecting to server. Incorrect email or password." Didn't make sense since I play through steam. Afterwards, the game forces me to update it and at the end of downloading it, it says "Missing file privileges". I do not understand why this is happening and would like some help about it.

I have tried the following solutions already: Clearing my download cache, repairing my steam library folder, verifying the integrity of the game files. running steam as administrator and redownloading the game, restarting the pc.

Hello, today i bought a PS5 controller to use with my PC, Xbox isn't very popular in Iceland and the controllers are all sold out so thats why i went with the PS5 controller anyway i spent 2 hours getting this thing to finally work with sifu which is on the epic games store, both of which i open through steam. After connecting the controller to the pc via bluetooth it worked immediately on steam big picture, good sign yes but unfortunately the controller didn't work in game even though it worked in the steam overlay, i tried a lot of things but to keep things shorter it finally worked after using DS4 windows to make steam think it was an XBOX controller and i want to make this guide for others who are running into issues

Edit: To be clear i run both the Epic games launcher and the game through steam and the controller will work in big picture but not the game itself UNTIL i use DS4Windows. on a further note it is very possible the ps5 controller would work straight through steam but this guide is for people who it isn't working for.

Step 3: Steam if it was open during step 2 then restarting steam is a good idea, and at this point steam should recognize it as an XBOX controller, it did for me. If something isnt working for you then comment below and i will be happy to help, and we can update this guide to better help others (also comment if you dislike the formatting and i will change it to look better)

Somebody told me that I can only get custom maps with the steam version of the game on PC so I'm not exactly sure if I should buy it directly from the Oculus store or if I should just buy it from steam. What do you guys think?

I spent the day trying to download a game on steam. Once the game downloaded, it was stuck on "installing". I waited about an hour for it to install with 0% progress, then had to force quit steam for anything to happen. Upon reopening steam, it has erased all of my account data. Upon attempting to sign in again, it tries to send me a code to my email. The email I have associated with steam is from my old school and was recently deactivated. So, I try to update my email, which requires passing the captcha check. I have done over 40 captchas and failed every single one. I think it must be a bug, but the captchas are also horrible. They'll ask to identify every image with a bus, then show super grainy zoomed out photos of a freeway that I can barely see. I don't know if the captchas are just broken or if I am really failing them all. Regardless, I can't access my account. Anyone have any advice? ff782bc1db
