For my own reasons I do not have Dropbox installed. Nor do I do automatic uploads. I thought basic idea was that you could direct upload. A huge folder of images I thought was backed up was not (13,000 items, mostly images). So I did a massive upload. It has taken four days. A couple of times I assumed it was internet issues. But for 10 hours now it has been saying it has: 2 items remaining and 26 seconds left to complete.

Questions: (a) Is there any way to see what item is the last one that is taking so long to upload? (b) Is there a solution to get this last thing to upload? Computer has been on for days just to try to finish this (c) If I quit now, is there anyway to compare the folder on the computer with the one on Dropbox to see what is missing? With 13,000 files, I am obviously not going through them one by one

In regards to your web uploading process, the best thing you could do would be to also try a different browser, or to try and break the upload into smaller bunches; although I understand this might not be convenient.

With 13,000 files the checking is what I was trying to avoid. I just stopped it. I know that at least two files are missing. I will have to wait until my vacation in August and try to go through and check individually. Or try to upload one by one. Was so hoping for a less time consuming solution.

After a while opening the app gives me just a yellow screen with the Norton icon in the middle for a long while, eventually it goes to the home screen. However Liveupdate never runs - it stalls at 20%. If I goto the Android settings, enter Airplane mode and go back to normal WiFi it advances to 100% with a server connection error.

What are the other devices you have with Norton working correctly? If my memory serves me correctly, there have been other One Plus users that have had issues with Norton 360. I'll see if I can find the older threads.

If that does not help, sending logs will be helpful. Open the 360 app and tap the three bars at the top left. Tap on Settings > General, and scroll down to the Logging section. Turn on Enable Debug Log. Then continue using your device until your issue happens again. After the issue has happened, go back to the Debug Log settings and then tap on Send Error Report with log files. In your submission please include "forum 'your username' " in the Case ID section of the report. Also include a link to this thread. You can turn off logging when you have sent the logs.

When a liveupdate was attempted earlier, I did get a brief message about "connection to servers timing out". My connection is good, everything else works perfectly - there is a gremlin just affecting Norton.

Do you remember any OS updates around the time you started seeing the issue with Norton? Or is this the first time you have installed Norton on this device? If not the first install, has 360 ever worked correctly on this device?

As it is only the one device with this issue, I go back to my suggestion above about an issue with the proprietary OS changes made by the manufacturer. This could be causing the issue you are seeing. If that is the issue, you will likely have to wait to see if the next update to 360 would resolve things. Sometimes there is nothing Norton can do to adapt to a manufacturer's proprietary changes without affecting all other devices.

I have been using Norton on the OnePlus 5t ( and 4 other devices ) for the past 15 months without any issues. There have been no OS updates recently but I do notice that the Norton version being downloaded from the Play Store is 5.68.0.230816001 - updated 15 August. Perhaps it is this latest version which has introduced the problem.

Please submit the debug logs again after updating N360 app to 5.68.2.230829010. We have added few additional logging in hope of isolating the issue. This appears to be network/device specific. I will keep update here after our check.

I have a HP Photosmart C7280. I received a "Pump Motor Stalled Press OK" Message on my display. When I press "OK" the printer goes through a series of clicks and what sounds like the head slidding back and forth. Then I get an "Ink System Failure" message. (Error Code 0xc05d0082). The message tells me to turn the printer off then on again. After doing this, using the power button, I received the following: "Improper shut down" You did not properly shut down the computer... Then the printer automatically cycles back to the "Pump Motor Stalled" message.

I am not real literate with these things so I am posting hoping a guru out there can help me. My husband who is, refuses to "waste his time" and wants to just throw it away and buy a new one. This printer is not quite 2 years old. I can't believe this is the end of its life. He did get the messages to clear one time but within the day, the cycle had come back.

Have a C7280. Powered it on and "Pump Motor Stalled" message came up. Removed all the ink cartridges, closed the printer and clicked ok. The printer ran until the cartridge error came up. Put the cartridges back in, closed the printer and clicked ok. It is working again.

I had the same problem and can't get it to come back. This is really quite sad that you have to go buy a new printer when this one has barely been used. I've tried every trick I can think of. Guess it's time to go buy a Cannon printer!

I have the same problem, with the HP Photosmart C7280. I disconnected the power and took the paper feeder out, put it back, and the printer is back on after clicking and churning. The problem is back every few days.

I only did the hard reset once, and that was because the machine kept giving me the ink subsystem failed message. I don't think these printers like refurbished ink cartridges. I started having trouble shortly after I began using them.

Printer is working ok for now. Just wanted to pass along the info that the Pump Motor Stalled message isn't necessarily the end of the machine's life (at least not in my case). If anything changes, I'll post again.

Turned printer off then back on. When turning printer on, I had a pump motor stalled error. Pressed Ok to continue...Printer started intializing. Then a whole bunch of creeking, belt movement and what sounded like gear hopping !

Followed HP procedure stated in this forum post: -printing-questions/ink-system-failure-Oxc19a0035/td-p/340422. I tried it about 10 times to try to resolve the issue, but to no avail every time... No amount of key sequencing, code clearing, resetting, unplugging, waiting and replugging did any good.

- All levels showed correctly in HP Solution Center. Yellow ink level was showing low.

--> Solution found: Replaced yellow cartridge but also, ENERGETICALLY removed and reinserted each and every of the 6 cartridges several times. ENERGETICALLY as in I've got nothing left to lose at the epitome of frustration kinda jerking to and fro movement under the lid. Picture it...

After closing the lid, the printer did it's "initialization" sequence once more (message on screen: printer preparation occuring - do not interrupt) and it didn't sound any better than before: the now all too familiar grinding sound like "I didn't press the clutch enough and shoved the stick into gear anyway" started it off, followed by the pulley humping roller belt tug of war... Usually THE CODE would appear not long after. BUT WAIT ! What's this ?! A new warning appeared: CLEAR PAPER JAM. There was none... Pressed Ok. And waited some more. The sequence seemed endless. But finally, it rolled to a stop. No more crash code.

Not satisfied with this, I had the printer perform a head alignment. Went fine. Then I had it clean the print head. Went well. Did the intermediate clean too. Went well also. I then printed a test page, a diagnostic page and a sample page. Everything works fine now.

I know it sounds too damned simple but, it worked for me: ENERGETIC CARTRIDGE REPLACEMENT. Who would of thought...

My cheeriest hi-five to each of you for whom my solution would work. My most heartfelt sympathies to you who tried yet another solution - mine - only to have it also utterly fail...

I had exactly the same issues with Pump Motor Stalled and Improper Shutdown. This was the perfect solution! I removed all the cartridges, clicked okay. Then I waited for it ask for the cartridges, replaced them, and viola! Thanks for the resolution!
