Download ~UPD~ Speed Drops After A Few Minutes

I download my stuff on uTorrent Android and this has never happened to me before but when I add the torrents the speed rises to 3 mb/s but after 1 minute it drops to 10kb/s and if I pause and resume the process just repeats itself. Please tell me a solution

After searching the web for almost last 5days i finally decided to trouble u all personally.the thing with my torrent speed is that whenever i start my torrents they will download at decent speeds say 4-5MB/s but after 2 minutes there is a gradual decline which stops only after the torrent download speed is below 0.1kbps .the torrent i am downloading (two)both have decent no. of seeds but there seems to be some issue with either the torrent or my system..I tried doing different things like Internet options-----miscellaneous-enable

dht node disable tried capping upload and download speeds

modifying connection.bandwith etc setting but to no use .please guide me through.i have been trying to download a 49gb file which started off well 4days ago and 16 gb was downloaded within 15 minutes but when i added another torrent the speed began to gradually decline like described above and since then the problem is recurring.now i have removed the torrent which i added in the first place(it could also be coincidental).

Hello guys and thank You for your time. My router is a TP-Link Archer C6 V3.20 EU running OpenWrt 22.03.0-rc4 r19426-2b1941e47d / LuCI openwrt-22.03 branch git-22.140.66268-ef99568

I have been using OpenWRT for a few months with no problems, but, since yesterday I keep having some issues. I have an 500mbps subscription with PPPoE as connection method over fibre. I usually get between 450-500 Mbps in speedtest for both download and upload, but, yesterday I noticed that 4K videos are loading much slower than usually, so, I ran a speedtest, results? 25 Mbps download and about 70 Mbps upload on Ethernet. I restarted the router and I got again almost 500 Mbps for about 5 minutes, then, again, slow speeds. My link to the router is gigabyte speed, also my WAN link to my provider. I maded the PPPoE connection on my laptop directly with the WAN cable and the speeds are normal, just under 500mbps, I kept testing for 30-40 minutes, no drops, same speed, instant 4k videos. After that I moved the WAN cable again in the router and, again, 5 mintues I had normal speeds, then, again, 25 mbps. I only have the DDNS mod installed so I restored the settings and done tests without any mod installed, same results, 5 minutes good speed and then, drop to 25 mbps. Again, WAN cable in the laptop, PPPoE and for about 3 hours normal speeds, then, I used the router again but this time with my laptops Ethernet MAC adress cloned just to be sure, again, 5 minutes good speed and then back to 25mbps. Any suggestions?

After few hours of trying and googling, I tried reseting my router. And bingo, transfer rates went up to around 1 gigabit! But that went on for an hour maybe, maybe even less, and got back to 100mbs. ?! This morning I tried resetting again, but this time it didn't work. Tried one more reset after a few minutes, and worked again. Let me pause this messages, and for how long it will go at 1gbps. OK, it's been almost 9 hours now. Now it's back again to 100mbs.

After I set up everything the way I wanted I started to copy the files (movies, TV shows) from my old Qnap 453A. The problem is that after just a few seconds the speed drops from around 110MB/s to 8MB/s and then even under 1 MB/s.

I have done this test several times as far back as 1 month ago: after rebooting the TZ 300, the speed is tested normally around 230MB of 250MB monthly plan. After 5-10 minutes speed drops to 85-90 MB on all PC devices. Hard wired or not. I have repeated this test multiple times

WAN (X1) was changed from Auto to Manual 1Gig no help on all X ports. I then got a bit more creative and changed 1Gig to 10 MB and then ran a speedtest result which was 3.71MB. It should have been 10 MB or rather close. If we compare at 1gig or at 10MB there is one commonality, about a 60% reduction in speed in both settings ( 230MB drops to roughly 90MB and then with X1 set to a 10MB setting, speed drops to 3.71MB). It would appear certainly something is throttling this router. I tested every reasonable MTU setting via command prompt from 1500 down to 1300 (our need is for for Cable use, not DSL, ADSL or PPPoE). Wound up with 1474 (1446 + 20 + 8) which consistently had the shortest Avg Response time to both Google and Yahoo @ 18-19ms (tested both). Previously was set to 1404. The options Fragment Non-VPN is enabled and Ignore Don't fragment is unchecked. Multicast is On (i've toggled both on and off, no help)

Halon5 - PS found this from a sonicwall web page (see below) - this might be something to be aware of when 'downgrading firmware' per the recommendation to try 6.5.3.4 firmware. Also, I can 100% confirm 230MB d/l speed for about 5-10 minutes on XO port. No security services were on at the time or thereafter. DPI was 'on'

Recently my cpu speed has been dropping from around 2.45Ghz to 0.19 when am playing games.Its so bad that this even happens in Roblox.I have a cooling pad under my laptop and i dont think this problem is because of overheating.I noticed that when my cpu speed drops the laptop is completely cool when i touch it.CPU speed is faster when i touch the laptop and its hot.i setted my minumum cpu speed to 100% and this still occurs.Also after a while when my cpu speed drops it returns back to normal, i can fix this by restarting the laptop but always doing this is getting annoying i also dont know if this problem is due to a hardware problem and i dont know much about computer etc and cant check whats the problem.

my lap is facing CPU speed at 0.19gHz especially when playing games. I already applied thermal paste and The power options are at 100%. The CPU speed goes normal after a restart or sleep. Any solution for it?

After a while (there's no hard time limit, it can be 1 minute it can be 15 minutes), transfer speed significantly drops to ~ 35 KB/s and stays on that level indefinitely (at least 30 minutes, I haven't waited longer).

I now have only seeding tasks being active. After I start Bitcomet I can see several peers downloading from my seeding tasks. For some strange reason uploading continues for about 10-15 minutes and then the upload speed drops suddenly to zero. At this point I continue to see all the peers being connected to the relevant tasks but none is able to download from me.

As I currently only have seeding tasks they started seeding normally. After about 1 hour the upload speed dropped suddenly to zero with the different peers still visible in the different tasks. I exited Bitcomet and after about 10 minutes it sent out a crash report. I started it again and it failed the same exact way after about 1 hour of working normally. I attach the 3 crash reports that I saved in 3 consecutive attempts.

As you can see below (this is for this morning) - speed to device after drop on Samknows shows as 94Mbps and then after a several reboots/resets it goes back up to optimal speed. However, you can see that the Hub after the drop has gone to 100Mbps and will jump back up to 1000Mbps after a successful reboot. The speed to the hub has always been around the 1100Mbps mark.

Probably a new hub... I have now getting more random drops throughout the day. Yesterday, I stopped counting after 10. Been online today for 40 minutes and already had 2. Checked the service for the area and no issues and speed has come back as 661Mbps now.

I bought an Archer C6 (eu) V2 from Amazon India and started using it a day back. However, I am facing an issue wherein the download speed drops suddenly and recovers after a few mins. My bandwidth provided by my ISP is 30 Mbps but sometimes the speed drops to 2 Mbps and I checked plugging in an another router so as to rule out the problem with the ISP, but the speed is fine with other router. This issue is happening on all the devices connected to the 2.4ghz band on Archer C6. The current firmware version which is installed is 1.3.6 Build 20200902 rel.65591(4555) and there are no updates available via OTA. Also, the ping time becomes very high and also cannot login to the router admin page during this time. However, it becomes normal within a few minutes. Is there any way to fix this or should I just return this product?

@Kevin_Z I tried updating to the beta firmware but still the issue persists. The speed is occasionally dropping to 2-3Mbps and after a couple of minutes or restarts it goes back to 20Mbps. Also, while turning on the router, it takes almost 8 minutes for the internet lamp to turn green from orange.

When the 2.4GHz internet speed drops to 2M, how about the link speed on the computer when it connects to the 2.4GHz? What is the link speed when the internet speed is normal? Please show us the screenshots of the link speed.

i m trying to download ue4 from launcher but the speed drops every 2 minutes to 0 kb/s my speed is 1 mb/s but getting 75kb/s in game launcher how do i increase it i get steam download at 6mb/s and is there something to do with log file that will help?

So when i play AAA titles like COD Warzone or Watch Dogs 2 usually get around 110 fps at low 1080p in warzone and in Watch Dogs 2 around 70fps very high 1080p as normal but when i keep playing the game after 5 - 10 minutes the fps drops to 15 - 20 fps range in both the games so i tried to figure out the issue and installed msi AfterBurner and found out after entering game my cpu tdp drops from 40watt to 25 first that doest do much frame loss

But the real issue is when the time goes around 3 minutes the GPU clock speed drops to around 300mhz from 1600mhz and at that time my fps go down like hell and destroys my whole experience is there any fix possible then please help me

Here the issue is my gpu core clock speed decreases after 3 - 4 minutes throttling isnt the issue even tho if i just put my laptop to sleep and wake it up instantly the fps gets boosted back but only for 3 more minutes and issue returns e24fc04721
