In windows we have snipping tool. In which after grabbing the screen user can click on copy in snipping tool, now when user press control + v in skype and slack the stream screenshot pasted in chat section in skype , slack and microsoft teams

Mainly I am looking for something in mac where I don't need to save every screenshot and select file in slack/skype to sent them, it took much effort everytime with unnecessary screenshot files storage.

I'm wondering how skype can send files directly to users that are usually behind a firewall? How does this work since I need to develop something similar where one local webserver (behind a firewall) needs to be able to send/stream files directly to another identical one?

I have SONAR as my DAW and the ever popular Scarlett 2i2 and I want to be able to go into a skype call or other program and have the audio go through the call, preferably along with my mic. Is there any way to accomplish this? It seems that scarlett is treating my DAW as a completely separate audio section from the rest of my computer audio.

The victims received a message from a compromised Skype account, with the message containing a deceptive VBS script with a file name following the following format: www.skype[.]vbs. The spacing in the file name tricks the user into believing the file is a .PDF document while hiding the real format as www.skype[.]vbs. In this sample we studied, the recipient knew the sender as someone who belonged to a trusted external supplier.

What I have been busy unsuccessfully for some time now: My Midi keyboard is connected through a MIDI2USB adaptor to my laptop. On my laptop I am running Pianoteq 6. I have a USB headset (a cheap one, if I get it working, I will buy a nice one). So in my headspeaker I want to hear what I play on Pianoteq AND what is coming in via skype. At the same time everything that I play and everything that gets picked up by the microphone of my headset must be sent to my teacher.

You can send the output from pianoteq directly to skype with your mic output over it. I've set this up in the past on a Mac very successfully with the receiver hearing Pianoteq perfectly. They hear it directly, not via your Mic.

I encountered a problem installing Skype for Business with a Self Service policy today. Package payload for the Policy is the Skype for Business .pkg download from Microsoft. Test deployment didn't reveal any problems. Put into production and start to see reports install doesn't work for some users. Checking policy log shows no errors, but end result is no Skype for Business installed. Try running the installer directly and get prompted to quit Safari and Microsoft Outlook before continuing. Whatever is triggering that prompt doesn't show up in the .pkg scripts when inspecting it via Suspicious Package. Anybody know if there are other apps besides Safari and Microsoft Outlook on the Skype installers naughty list? And shouldn't the installer exit with a failure if the running app test fails when running in non-interactive mode?

@sdagley thanks. The Skype for Business bug bar is high, and their triage team will only fix it if the request comes directly from a Premier customer, and not from another engineering team like mine. I sent them the fix already, so if you can, reference Epic:1465094 and they should know exactly what to do!

Look directly into the camera. Now that you have it at eye level, look directly into it. If your eyes wander around the room, you will look distracted. If the monitor is below the camera, you may find yourself looking at the monitor and not at the camera. You can be really tricky and elevate your monitor to be directly behind your camera. This will allow you to look at the monitor, while giving the appearance that you are always looking directly into the camera (think teleprompter).

Every time skype initiates a video call, it changes the default audio output. This will turn off blutooth if you have turned it on. You need to go back into settings and reenable your audio output every time you start a video chat in skype.

Skype on Windows Phone more powerful than on Android, because they both Microsoft's products. On Android you cant make calls via skype from car's bluetooth. But can make call from phone and connect it via AUX and then sound will go throught car's speakers

Direct calls are calls that are dialed directly to DNs, without being initiated from T-Server or passing through a Routing Point. To provide CTI support for direct calls, T-Server uses Skype for Business call forking functionality. On startup, T-Server requests a Connector to subscribe to all registered users and create endpoints for each of them. When a call arrives at a registered user, Skype for Business Server forks the call to all users' endpoints, including the Connector's endpoint. T-Server delivers the conversation ID of the forked call to Workspace Desktop in AttributeExtensions of EventRinging. The Workspace Plugin ignores inbound calls without appropriate conversation IDs and answers that call leg passed via Connector.

You can use either or both of these two methods, depending upon your requirements. The configuration required for these methods is explained below (see Routing indirectly via a Virtual Reception (IVR gateway) and Routing directly via the Infinity Gateway). Also included are some guidelines for SfB/Lync configuration to use Pexip Infinity as a SfB/Lync gateway.

For example, if the alias of the Virtual Reception is sfb.lobby@example.com and the SfB/Lync Conference ID is 572450, then the endpoint can dial sfb.lobby**572450@example.com to be transferred directly into the SfB/Lync conference.

Connect web app users can also be provided with a preconfigured link URL that, when clicked, will automatically provide the SfB/Lync Conference ID to the Virtual Reception and take the user directly into the SfB/Lync conference. The URL needs to be in the format:

https://tag_hash_120/webapp/conference/tag_hash_121?name=tag_hash_122&extension=tag_hash_123

for example @example.com?name=Alice&extension=572450

After the Call Routing Rule has been configured, non-SfB/Lync users can now dial an alias that matches your specified pattern (e.g. 8812345@example.com) to be routed directly into the appropriate SfB/Lync meeting (in this example the SfB/Lync meeting with a Conference ID of 12345).

I want to interact with clients who log support request via skype. I want to add those interactions to Jira & respond to clients asking for more details & then give them their ticket number. The Azure bot service has many limitations & its been discontinued. Any ideas of shortest deployment via uipath or other solution?
