recently i started working on a project of membrane ultrafiltration of drinking water. I am using siemens s7-1500 PLC. I figured that it would be nice if i try to model process in Simit. I connected the TIA v17, Simit v10.3 and WinCC v7.5 SP2 with PLC Advanced v4.0 SP1 simulator and everything is working fine. Now comes the hard part - process modeling. Valves were not that hard; i just used elements from the library (for example DriveV1). But i have a problem with the rest.
Can you try with the firewall of the VM dissabled?
Maybe the firewall is blocking the traffic to the simit port.
If it works when you dissable your firewall. You can edit it to allow traffic to the correct port and enable it again
