Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is a French CGI action/adventure animated series produced by Zagtoon and Method Animation, in co-production with Toei Animation, SAMG Animation, and De Agostini S.p.A. The series features two Parisian teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, who transform into the superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir, respectively, to protect the city from supervillains which are created by the supervillain Hawk Moth (later renamed Shadow Moth in season 4 and Monarch in season 5). It airs in over 150 countries, each with its own order of episodes; this list of episodes will follow the airing order in France (on TFOU).

Aurore Beaural, an aspiring weather girl, loses a competition to be the weather forecaster for a kids' TV channel. Mad over the seemingly unfair results, the villain Hawk Moth uses an "akuma", an evil butterfly, to "akumatize" her, using her negative emotions to turn her into a weather-controlling villain, "Stormy Weather". With the help of their magical "kwami" creatures, Tikki and Plagg, teenagers Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste use their ladybug and black cat-themed jewels, the Miraculouses, to turn into their superhero personas, "Ladybug" and "Cat Noir". Together, they defeat Stormy, but remain oblivious to their secret identities.

Eye Colour Change: Alya's hazel eyes are changed to red-violet as Lady Wifi. Failed a Spot Check: She believes Chlo (currently dressed as Ladybug) to be Ladybug and unmasks her to the public, completely missing that her hair and eye color are wrong. It isn't until the real Ladybug shows up that she realizes her mistake. Then again, she also never realizes the superhero she follows obsessively has the exact same hairstyle, color and eyes as her best friend either. Flight: While under the Puppeteer's control, she demonstrates the ability to fly around using a "fast-forward" rune. Flipping the Bird: She sends a left-handed salute, which is an insulting gesture. Instant Runes: Most of her powers manifest as floating pink icons projected from her smartphone. The Leader: She becomes this for the Punisher Trio and the Gang of Secrets. Logical Weakness: She gets her powers from Wi-Fi signal, so when the reception is low, she loses most of her superhuman skills. She still proves strong enough to overpower Cat Noir in a straight fight. In "Flix" however, she doesn't have this problem anymore, due to a satellite connection. Near-Villain Victory: In her titular episode she manages to freeze both of Ladybug's hands to the wall and traps Cat Noir in a freezing room and (unknowingly) knocks out his Miraculous from his hand, however she's unable to demask Ladybug as her mask is magic. Had she knew that she only needed to take off her Miraculous in order to depower her, she would've won. The Paralyzer: She can paralyze people with her phone, either completely or just parts of their body (like their hands). Sensual Spandex: Her costume is very shiny and skin-tight. Red Eyes, Take Warning: She has red-violet eyes, and is an Akuma villain working for Hawk Moth. Supernatural Phone: Her phone has the power to control reality to a degree, including: pausing people, locking doors or people in place, Telephone Teleport, setting up cameras, or Super-Speed. Telephone Teleport: She can travel through Wi-Fi, teleporting herself from one phone to other. Time Stands Still: Her "stop" and "pause" runes freeze whatever they hit. Took a Level in Badass: In "Flix", her Wi-Fi connection is now hooked up to a satellite, meaning reception is no longer an issue for her.

A villain who can summon the powers of Egyptian gods. His civilian self is Jalil Kubdel. His Akuma is contained in his necklace. In his second iteration, the Akuma is on his folder. Total of Akumatizations: 4. Barrier Warrior: In "Reunion" he receives the power of the Turtle Miraculous, which he uses to shield his akumatized object from being broken. Came Back Strong: His season 5 incarnation not only has access to a new power: the Book of Truth, which traps all the people who answers its questions wrong, but also has access to unlimited Shel-Ters in order to protect his akumatized object. Even Evil Has Loved Ones: His first motivation is to bring back his deceased Queen. In his second appearance he willingly gets himself akumatized out of a belief that Ladybug manipulated his sister into becoming Bunnyx indefinitely to hide from Monarch. His plan is to force Ladybug to bring Alix back so he can save her. Eye Beams: His Anubis mask fires beams to turn people into mummies. Fake Memories: Unlike most akumatized villains, who are motivated by the desires and memories of their civilian selves, Jalil is given an entirely new identity and memories when he's akumatized, believing himself to be the reincarnation of a Pharaoh and thiking he's fought a Ladybug Miraculous wielder in the past, even though his civilian identity is just a historian working at a museum. Flight: When channeling Horus. Human Sacrifice: His plan involves sacrificing Alya to resurrect his Queen. Living Lie Detector: In his appearance in season 5, Monarch grants him the power to reveal lies through the Book of Truth. While this power is mostly used to trap people who answer its questions wrong, it ultimately ends up backfiring on Monarch because the book honestly answers that Ladybug and Cat Noir are the heroes they claim to be, allowing Jalil to reject the akuma. Mask of Power: He switches between different masks, each corresponding to an ancient Egyptian deity, that allow him to channel the power of said gods. Shockwave Clap: He does this against Ladybug and Cat Noir using his Sekhmet mask. Super Power Lottery: A sure winner among the Villains of the Week. He was granted the power of numerous Egyptian gods. Beaten only because of sheer luck. Though considering the heroes' powersets, this is not an illegitimate way to win. He wins the "superpowers lottery" once again when he's reakumatized in "Reunion" by gaining access to a Living Lie Detector in the form of the Book of Truth and the Turtle Miraculous power through his Alliance Ring. Super-Strength: When channeling Sekhmet, he can bend steel bars. Time Stands Still: His Thoth mask creates bubbles which cause those within to slow to a crawl.
