Apparently it started happening with the iPhone 14 Pro Max. There are a lot of reviews regarding the same problem since the 14 came out. Quite a few videos on you tube for various state and national lottery apps. All videos are recommending the exact same steps. None worked for me. I'm hoping someone comes up with a work around. Not all the lottery apps have the ability to do the two-finger zoom and they don't appear inclined to update their apps to work with the newer phones.

We're not talking about RQ codes, we're talking about lottery bar scanners. Do you guys read what people say? I was on the phone with another issue with 5 senor techs. and not one of them could figure out what I was trying to do. You're phones lack list view options in the photos app and among many other things.

I was moving the phone back and forth trying to find the sweet spot without any luck. But it seems I have found it. It started working (most of the time) yesterday for me. I still get error messages about 25% of the time, but I kept trying and I got it for all but two scans for scratchers and draw tickets. The app hasn't updated so I'm not sure what's changed. Seeing that other people were experiencing the same thing convinced me to stop checking manually and be persistent with the app.

Have found it is a focus problem. Move the camera much father away then you did with your old phone and it should work. Have had problems with both lottery tickets and scan codes at the supermarket but distance seems to make it work. Have to say I 15 Pro Max has not impressed me!

Ty! I received several Florida scratch off tickets this morning and. One of them would scan via the Florida Lottery app on my new iPhone 15 Pro. I changed the setting as you suggested and now it works perfect! Ty for saving Christmas! Haha

To play draw games in the app, you can use funds from your wallet as described above, or you can add the tickets to your shopping cart and pay for them at checkout using a debit card. The minimum shopping cart purchase is $5.

Never miss a Second Chance entry when you scan your Scratch-its on the mobile app. Once you have a My Lottery account, entering non-winning tickets is as easy as a scan and a tap. Or make things even easier and select the option to automatically enter tickets into Second Chance.

Using the Ticket Checker, scan the barcodes from the bottom front of your scratch tickets (Scratch to Cash) and Powerball, Mega Millions, Lucky For Life, Tri-State Gimme 5, KENO 603 and other games to see if your ticket is a winner.

The ticket scanner feature is available in the Mass Lottery app and allows players to scan instant and draw game tickets to see if they are winners. Players must have a Mass Lottery Player Account in order to access the ticket scanner.

Our PlayOn members have asked for it and now it is finally here! We are very excited to offer a Ticket Checker function within the PlayOn mobile app. Now you can check your tickets for winners at your convenience by downloading the PlayOn mobile app. Once you select the "Scan" button at the bottom of the screen, you will see an option for Ticket Checker and one for PlayOn. The Ticket Checker option will allow you to check your tickets for winners, while the PlayOn option will allow you to submit your tickets for points or entries. If the Ticket Checker option is not displaying after you hit the Scan button, be sure to update your app to get the latest version. View this YouTube video for a demonstration on how to use the PlayOn app.

The PlayOn Ticket Checker is provided as a convenience to PlayOn members. Although the Kansas Lottery intends the PlayOn Ticket Checker to be able to check for winning tickets, the Kansas Lottery makes no express or implied warranties or representations of any kind as to the content, accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of the information provided by the PlayOn Ticket Checker. CT Lottery tickets can be purchased at more than 2,800 Retailers throughout the state. You can recognize a CT Lottery Retailer by the "LOTTERY SOLD HERE" sign posted in or outside their store. To locate a Retailer in your area click here.

All lottery tickets expire. Draw game tickets must be claimed within 180 calendar days from the drawing date. Fast Play tickets expire 180 days from the date of purchase. Scratch game tickets must be claimed within 180 calendar days from the official announced end of game date. Select a game listed in the SCRATCH section of our website and it will tell you if a game end date has been established. (Please note, if a Scratch game has ended, and is past the last day to claim a winning ticket, the game will no longer appear among the games listed on this website.)

Overall odds are the odds that reflect your chances for winning a Lottery prize overall. For example, if a scratch game has odds of 1 in 4, which means for all of the tickets in the entire game, divided by the total number of tickets that are prize winners, there will be one winning ticket per every four tickets. However, because prizes are distributed randomly throughout the entire game, it does not mean that there will be a winning ticket every 4th ticket.

EXAMPLE: 1,000,000 total tickets in the game / 250,000 total tickets that are prize winners = Overall odds 4

All CT Lottery tickets can be checked on a Lottery Ticket Checker at any CT Lottery Retailer, at a Lottery Ticket Vending Machine or by downloading our free CT Lottery Mobile App. Using the Mobile App "Scan Tickets" feature you can scan the barcode on any CT Lottery ticket to see if it's a winner. PLEASE NOTE: The CT Lottery's gaming system is "off-line" between the approximate hours of 2am - 5am daily. During that time, scanning tickets via the Lottery Ticket Vending Machine, CT Lottery Mobile App or at Retailer Lottery Ticket Checkers is not available.

A Lottery ticket is a bearer instrument until signed. Unless you sign the back of your ticket, anyone else who has the ticket can claim the prize. The CT Lottery is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets and cannot pay a prize without a valid winning ticket.

Tickets that are torn, damaged, or cannot be scanned by a Lottery terminal must be mailed or brought to CT Lottery Headquarters at 15 Sterling Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492. Please note, damaged tickets may take 4-6 weeks to process.

To request that your name be removed from our Winners List, please send an email to info@ctlottery.org. Include your full name, hometown, date of claim, game name, prize amount, and the Retailer name/location where the winning ticket was purchased, or call 860-713-2701.

When making a Lottery purchase, it is important to check your tickets carefully before leaving the Lottery terminal to make sure the tickets received are correct. If an error is discovered at the time of purchase, speak to the Retailer immediately.

Scratch game tickets must be claimed within 180 calendar days from the official announced end of game date. Select a game listed in the SCRATCH section of our website and it will tell you if a game end date has been established. Click here for the SCRATCH GAMES TABLE. (Please note, if a Scratch game has ended, and is past the last day to claim a winning ticket, the game will no longer appear among the games listed on this website.)

The odds of winning Scratch games vary. If the odds of winning a game are 1 in 4, that doesn't mean that every fourth ticket purchased will be a winner. Overall odds are based on the entire quantity of tickets printed for the specific game indicated. The odds are calculated by taking the total number of tickets printed, divided by the number of winning tickets. The winning tickets are randomly distributed, therefore it is possible to purchase several tickets without having a winning ticket, just as it is possible to have multiple winning tickets in a row. 17dc91bb1f
