I've been playing Save the World more and more and I've completed the Canny Valley story line. I know epic games has left Save the World behind to focus on Battle Royale but is there even a small bit of hope for Twine?

Hi Luis -- Thanks for your feedback about StoryMaps. That's not possible right now, but we're working on the ability to create a copy of a story created with ArcGIS StoryMaps and plan to release this feature in Q1 of 2020.

EDIT: I noticed your question was posted in our GeoNet space about classic stories. Please be aware that the forthcoming capability to copy a story will only be available for the new ArcGIS StoryMaps. It won't be available for classic stories. For classic stories you can use the ArcGIS Online Assistant tool to create a copy, but there are some limitations. See this article for details.

@RandyMcGregor3 - Yes, the ability to duplicate a story was added to ArcGIS StoryMaps back in April 2020. You can duplicate a story (or collection or theme) in the builder from the ... menu at the top right, or from the card view on your My Projects page.

Howdy! big fan here, i was wondering if there will ever be a manual save option in the game, as mine tends to crash and I lose sometimes 20+ minutes of progress or end up with weird half saves where some things stay but other things reset, and while having the game not crash so often would be ideal, i'm very used to games like this and minecraft crashing constantly, and all I want is the option to save without quitting and reloading.

You can also map it to a key via the macro editor (CTRL+M), so you just hit that key occasionally and it saves for you. Just make sure that that key isn't in use already. For instance, the typical F5 for quicksave is bound by default to switch you to third person camera and back - you might want to pick something else.

There have been a couple of different suggestions (see request #106 Ability to change the story directory path [wip] and request #108 Desktop app file system paradigm for NW story files) on how to implement a possible solution to this issue but they needed to be halted due to the restructure/redesign of the application that became v2.1.0 (from memory)

NOTE: One semi-complex method (trick) that still works is to run the application so that it creates its Stories folder where it wants to, and then to replace the Stories folder with a Symbolic Link to the actual location you want the story project files to to be stored in.

This is how I control my own environment so I can have one location where I store all the projects I need to create when answering other peoples questions and another location where I story my own projects.

I have gotten the same error message several times today when trying to save a project. I have been using Storyline for a year and working on this project for a couple months - this is the first time I have seen it, but it is now persistent and will not stop. "The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."

It will not allow me to Save As anything else. If I cancel out, I can close the project, but not save any work progress. I have tried closing every other application, closing/restarting Storyline, rebooting, and reinstalling Storyline from scratch. I thought I had a fix after I reinstalled, but the error message came back after 30 minutes. I can't find anything in the Heroes archive that addresses this specific problem.

During a Facebook Messenger for Desktop software update last week, an unwanted and unexpected malware detection program called Bytefence piggybacked into my computer. I hadn't even opened or run the program, but the presence of Bytefence prevented Storyline from being able to save. As soon as I deleted Bytefence, Storyline started working perfectly again.

When you clear your history, the identifier used by Apple News to report statistics to news publishers is also reset. You can reset the identifier at any time by going to Settings > News, then turning on Reset Identifier.

Once the hero has these three things, the 15 beats will sketch a path for the hero to transform from who they were at the beginning to who they are at the end of the story (and it keeps that transformation engaging and meaningful to the reader).

I had originally seen this approach attributed to writer Dan Wells and his original breakdown of this approach is on YouTube videos, filmed during a live writing conference. I highly recommend watching these videos or listening to him discuss this style of story structure on the Writing Excuses podcast.

After the conversion to Optimized Design Experience my large Analytic Application went out of control in case of memory usage. It is not possible to save my edited changes anymore (I added one console.log). During saving the Story goes over 6,2 GB of RAM (Firefox has no Memory Limit - I saw it there) and it stays there. The problem is Google Chrome and MS Edge bring the "Out of Memory" error at 4,5-5GB and the story won't be saved. Firefox doesnt work properly. Brave Browser is not supported. I have no idea how I can convert my Applications to ODE to use the new functionalities. I dont want to split my large Story into mulitple ones. It would reduce UI and UX dramatically.

I recall telling my ER doctor how the death of Prince that morning prompted me to go to the ER. He told me that the death of Prince saved my life. He said had I not come to the ER, I would have either dropped dead or lost part of my lung. By the grace of God, I now had a chance to let this doctor save my life too.

I believe that a good narrative has the power to change the world. We can give people the narrative framework imagine a better future, and then, we can work together to make that story into reality. I invite all the dreamers, thinkers and of course the doers, to share their story of solutions, and dare to step into a different ending.

Haha He would always say your first draft is your vomit draft and just let it flow. Everything that happens after well that is where the structure comes in, so for now just write and get it on the paper. You cannot edit a story that is not written.

@votw Thank you for reaching out and sharing those details. This saving issue could be due to a number of issues from plugin conflicts to hosting setup or firewalls. Note that when I view your story, I no longer see any console errors related to the blocked CORs policy (as previously seen in your screenshot).

In the meantime, Amy Keller of Chicago Art Deco Society and Keith Stolte, another officer of the Carl Street Studios Condo Association, continued to press the developer, still without demo permit, to alter his plans and keep the integrity of the block intact. Ideally, the neighbors wanted the developer to keep the building as-is and simply do a gut-rehab. This would save the adjacent buildings from potential damage resulting from the demolition and carving out of an enormous new basement, and it would maintain the pristine historic aesthetic of Burton Place. Alternatively, knowing the developer had already refused to consider such an option, they hoped to persuade him to at least keep the faade in place and force his plans for optimizing square footage into the rear of the lot.

The Remake version use the PS2 model which you can continue the game indefinitely after watching the Staff Roll but the Gamecube version, the game will be ended after Credit Roll and you cannot continue the latest save data because the game has been set to be finished and unplayable forever once you finished the storyline.

Save the Homeland is a different game from Wonderful Life. Yes they are both Harvest Moon games and of course they have the similar elements such as farming and such but story wise they don't connect or anything.

Save the Homeland have very repetitive objective, get the different endings and because the game size in disc is very very small (around 120+ MB) so there are a lot of important things from previous game got removed.

No Mayor, No Festival, No Marriage, Only 4 crops to plant (Tomato, Potato, Corn, Breadfruit), No Cave Mine, Time is not displayed on the screen so you have to check from the menu.

In Save the Homeland, you given by 1 year as the time limit to finish the storyline or Game Over so you cannot even enjoy the whole seasons since you have a deadline to get an ending from 9 different endings and after you get the ending, the game will be back to beginning again 2 Spring where everybody will forget about you but you still have your stuffs , your money and animals. From here, you will always play again from beginning with your current belongings and you have to find another ending over and over again.

That gameplay concept is very dreadful. 2351a5e196
