For anyone having problems with your Roku remote: If you have an Android smart phone, you can go to the Google Play Store and download the Roku App. The app does a lot of things, including acting as a remote for your Roku player. My son set up my app, so I don't have directions on how to pair it to your TV once you install it. But, I think the app itself directs you on how to pair your phone to your TV. I also believe it is through Wifi. Hope this helps someone.
