Roboto AI, a company working to create tools to help robotics developers go from a prototype to a reliable production system, emerged from stealth with $4.8 million in Seed funding. Unusual Ventures led the round, which also included the Allen Institute for Artificial Intelligence (AI2) and FUSE Ventures. Roboto AI is also partnering with researchers and professors at the ETH Zrich AI Center.

Robotics companies oftentimes have to develop all of their infrastructure, anything from custom hardware to data infrastructure in-house. This could cost startups crucial time and money that could be spent getting their systems into the world. I used a gearbox from a toy (more exactly, from a bubble gun, like this one). In this previous instructable, I showed more in depth how to transform a bubble gun into a gearbox for robotic projects. I like to organize the pieces on the ground, before assembling. This gives me the idea of how the robot will look, if there is any extra piece I need to find, or maybe, if the robot will work/look better with other materials.

The song tells part of the story of Robert Orin Charles Kilroy (ROCK), in the rock opera Kilroy Was Here.
