On April 3, Spektral Quartet offered live renditions of the mini masterpieces at Fulton Recital Hall, as well as iPad listening stations that allowed guests to explore the full catalogue of ringtones.

From the player screen when I select "Artist" it takes me to a screen with all songs by the Artist, instead this should take the screen which shows All Albums by the artist. Is there a way to do that? If not, could that be added as a feature request?

Since the Artist page has an option to show all songs from the artist, I think it makes more sense that long-press option on Player screen goes to Artist page so that I can select different album from the artist or just select "all songs". Also, why is there is a limitation on the number of pictures that are displayed when changing artist picture or album picture? I would love to see this option modified to include more results and also and option to do custom search (checkout how PlayerPro does it).

The whole point of that feature in the Player screen menu is to show the currently playing song, but within a different category view (i.e. within a folder, an album, or the artist's other songs). Thus it has to go to a songs list rather than a higher album/etc view. If you want to go up another level though, just tap the Back button.

A total of 52 dates were announced for the tour through to July.[38][39] However due to the COVID-19 pandemic local tour dates were rescheduled from April 2021.[41][42] Likewise the artist curtailed her European performances, "I must cut short the rest of my first tour over here, as the majority of the remaining shows have already been cancelled due to government policy and I do not want to subject anyone to making a choice between coming to see me and their health."[43]

During August 2020 the singer and her management, sponsored an Instagram-based competition, That One Song, which featured a different developing artist each day. The artist "share(d) original content" on her account.[50][51] After 2 September the finalists were voted for by the public, from the 20 artists which were previously showcased.[51] The competition was won by pop rock duo, Monatomic's entry, "They're Playing My Song".[52][53] Tones and I co-headlined a virtual concert, with Gary Clark Jr., on 5 and 6 September 2020.[54][55] The performances were fundraisers for the Equal Justice Initiative and were streamed live on various media channels.[54][55]

The artist also announced in September 2020 that her debut album would be expected in 2 or 3 months, "I've taken the time to just really make sure it's what I want. And I want to add more music to the album. It will be my first ever album, so I really want to make sure I'm proud of it."[56] The singer's next single, "Fly Away", appeared in mid-November and its first live performance occurred on 24 November at the Newcastle Civic Theatre.[57] The single achieved moderate global success, peaking at 4 in Australia, 10 in Ireland, 11 in the UK and Denmark, and top 40 in several European countries.

Ringtones on Android smartphones are music files, just like the ones that make up your music collection. Realising this, I wondered how these files were tagged, if at all. Here's how my original list of ringtones appear (on my ancient HTC Wildfire).

The only place I could conceive tags are shown from ringtones are in the list of ringtones within Android's settings page. And so it proved; the name given to each ringtone is taken from the Track Name field.

This is indeed a great issue... EVERY TIME i play Terranigma (SNES), some weirdo artist (Jo $upreme) claims its his song.... Its beyond annoying!!! Just because he sampled the music from the game does NOT make it his!!! It becomes even more annoying when Twitch does not let me submit an appeal... like i literally cannot click on "Submit" !!!

I have been an entertainment industry professional for over 30 years, and what streaming platforms choose to interpret as copyright law is atrocious. I DJ on Twitch now, and two of my videos have had audio blanking despite the scrolling message coming from my LICENSED COPY OF VIRTUAL DJ that i ALSO HAVE A PRS LICENSE under FATAL FLOOR PRODUCTIONS, which is a NOT FOR PROFIT LLC. What is frustrating is that there is NO WAY of preventing these incorrect censorships, nor does one have a line of communication to refute such erroneous, and sometimes downright fraudulent claims; FURTHERMORE, this is causing MORE HARM to the artists themselves, who see no proportional revenue from streamers due to censorship, as repeated airplay of their song is supposed to generate revenue - which is WHAT THE PRS are for! I have the lawful and legal right to not only play music under this license, but there should also be no given reason why they should censor the recording, since I am playing the song ON MP3, at a different pitch, different speed, and NOT CLAIMING TO OWN THEIR MATERIAL AT ALL!

Twitch, you have the option to lead the way, here; in no way is a streamer claiming to own a song - they are just sharing it. If that streamer has a PRS license, why is there no option to tell you that? This way feels more like corporate supression of the revenues of artists...which is currently forming a very large picket line in Hollywood right now.

I am absolutely agree for this. I just got muted from the song title Home, which the original artist is Mo Falk& OVSKY. The original artist allow streamer use their music on live stream. The system mute my video and claim the music had owned by somebody else which is not the original artist.

You can peek behind the curtain just a little bit by looking at the FAQ page from TuneCore, a company that takes a flat fee for putting digital music to which you own the copyright onto online stores such as the iTunes Store, Napster, eMusic, Rhapsody, MusicNet, GroupieTunes, and others, both in the United States and internationally.
