I just got new computer. Had lines down the center of display, then found that Windows had disabled Adrenalin software and drivers due to issues or what ever. I know very little about the workings of computers, used to plug and play. I do have CCleaner, so what would be the steps involved in trying your solution? SeismicForce had a workaround listed, but it could not find the %AppData% etc, I am not comfortable with going too deep into folders. Is AMD not aware of the issue? I did reinstall the program, and slowly things got disabled by windows.

This might come up silly and I've just missed something, but on step 6. after downloading the windows 7 adrenaline and running installation, there wont be any folders to choose from. Only the installation exe. So Im stuck here for now.

Thanks in advance:)

Brightness dims dramatically after user login upon KB5030310 installation on a PC having AMD Radeon RX550/550 Series as graphics card. Driver version of AMD card is 31.0.12027.9001. I have tried uninstalling the previous mentioned graphics card driver and issue would be fixed until its automatic reinstallation. Let me point out that before user login brightness is normal and it drops off after logon. Brightness is minimum for the whole display except of the arrow of the mouse cursor. For the time being I have uninstalled the above mentioned windows update and issue is fixed.

You can try activating (if available) HDR setting Control Panel -> System -> Display -> HDR. This setting would eliminate the dimming effect but at the cost of making all colors appear abnormally saturated. HDR setting for my case is unavailable now that I have rollbacked back the problematic windows update but it gets available and inactive after its installation. When I activated HDR dimming would be gone but color saturation really annoyed me so that I preferred to uninstall the update.

This issue is only happening on my windows desktop. It works fine on my MacBook Pro, my IpadPro, and even the HTML5 version on the same windows computer.. It is only through desktop viewer. I will add that I am using an AMD 6900XT in the end device with the latest updated drivers, but I have heard of some issues with AMD endpoints in the past.

We are also experiencing this issue in our environment. Lenovo thinkpad L15 laptops here with radeon integrated graphics. the issue occurs when the h264/h265 codec kicks in with Citrix workspace app HW acceleration enabled. disabling the HW acceleration on the workpace app the behavior goes away for me as well... However its a workaround not a fix. I have a ticket opened with citrix to show them the behavior, as it only seems to affect workspace app..

This navi12 gpu is on the BC-160 that works on windows 10 but i cant find any driver for it. And ther is a V520 that is a single gpu version of this card but i cant download the drivers it is for amazon virtual machines only. So i need any navi12 gpu driver but not the 5600M mobility driver. I think it should work with the BC-160 drivers but i cant find it anywhere.

I just installed rhino on my new lenovo notebook with a radeon hd 8670m card. when I am in the 4 viewport mode and I drawing in one of the viewports, the 4 viewports start flickering which makes working impossible. when I turn off hardware accelerated mode, everything works ok, so I suppose it has something to do with open gl (redraw scene turned on and off but no changes). I updated my cards driver to the latest, but no changes also. (Rhino5 newest SR)

I tryed to install also the non-whql-win8.1-win7-radeon-software-crimson-relive-16.2.1-sep20 in same mode mentioned above(the latest driver provided by AMD for Windows 10 64 bit), the result is that it not can be istalled due imcompatibility.

2. Apologies, I am not the most computer literate, are you asking whether or not it is known to be compatible with my machine? If you are, the answer is no, I am not 100% as on the website (Amazon link below) I purchased it from it did say windows 10, not windows 11 which I am currently running on the machine. Also, I have found generally very little information on AMD machine and working PCIE cards... for some context on use purposes I have installed this card so I can connect to a work NAS, the reason we need such speeds is that we frequently access RAW video files from the NAS.

Just to come and give feedback for those who contributed... I got there in the end.

Nothing was working uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, clean windows installs, etc.

Eventually, in desperation, I flashed the motherboard Bios to the latest version 1.23.3 ff782bc1db
