That was my problem: Webdriver didn't proceed to execute the rest of the test, while in the back I had another chrome window open. After I closed that open window, the test worked perfectly.

The issue has been reported though closed: =1123

 Best solution: either close existing chrome tab by testing, or do the tests in VM so no interruptions.

Yes, as Bar Margalit pointed out, closing the existing chrome tab works but doesn't fully solve the problem. Especially if you want to use more than one Chrome Profile at the same time, you will run into the same problem again. What you can do though is move all relevant Chrome Profile folders to a different location (and change the directory in your code accordingly). I can get this working using ChromeOptions to set the userdatadir and profile directory. This loads the browser with my profile like i want, but the browser then hangs for 60 seconds and times out without advancing through any more of the automation.

PAD launches the browser with the login you are in. However, if you want to switch to different profiles you use sendkeys method using arrow keys/enter keys etc. This needs to planned properly using delay actions so that it opens desired profile.

another option would be to copy the Link of your Profile (eg. ) and paste it inside of an incognito tab in chrome. The result would be the same - you see your profile out of the perspective of an external visitor coming from google.

I am trying to set Chrome's HomepageLocation setting value when I deploy to Android via UEM. This setting is not exposed in the Chrome browser profile, so I have been looking at -Workspace-ONE-UEM/services/Android(Legacy)_Platform/GUID-AWT-ANDRO... to set a custom setting.

But when I deploy this and click on the home button of the Chrome browser, I still see the old value. If I go to Settings, I see that this is not updated. EDIT: and if I open chrome://policy, it lists HomepageLocation without a set value.

Hello @omarluna, when I make this Config profile send it to a device I see that there is an error with it when I check on it in chrome:policy. I am needing to block this some student iMac devices. I was able to get it block on safari but firefox and chrome are a different story.
