I'm trying to connect my Epson L805 printer but I get an error instead. I've tryed to add it via WiFi, USB and by IP adress, but every time I got the same error. Restarting computer didn't help. Resetting printing system didn't help. Installing/uninstalling Epson drivers didn't help. Is there any other way to fix this issue?

Hi, I hope someone here can help me before I return the printer and turn to another... I wonder if this is to be expected with this printer. I have a brand new Epson L805 and right from the first printout there's horizontal banding present. There's no clogged nozzles as the check appears to be in order. Banding can be difficult to notice at first but at closer inspection it's evident. I tried cleaning the nozzles just in case and I tried print head alignment about 12 times in my previous printer with no results. This is my second Epson L805 printer that has this problem. The first one was replaced by this one & received from the same dealer. Thank you for your time

I can see the banding on the first image, then the green boxes. Is there banding present on all the colors/mixes? Are you using a standard/recommended paper and printer driver settings? This could be caused by overinking that could be caused by a bad paper/driver settings combination. It could also be due to a paper feed issue. Does the software have any paper feed adjustment features?

Hey! Thanks for your reply. That's definitely not the cause as I print on highest settings / lowest speed with numerous attempts to change print quality to see if anything will change, even on different types of paper the issue kept happening. As you can see from the pics, the rest of the colours appear without bands, my only problem is with light cyan and light magenta.

Thank you for your answer! From what I've noticed, The banding is only present in mixes using light cyan and light magenta. I used many different types of paper, different settings, always used highest quality / lowest speed and this banding occurred every time. After further inspection I noticed that the bands are present when printing on top until around 5/6 to the bottom of the page, with the bottom prints showing no bands. I have no idea why.

I know it is probably obvious to check....how does a nozzle text look? Are you sure you are not missing nozzles (light cyan/light magenta/yellow can be difficult to see..use a blue led light to check the yellow if you have to). Be absolutely certain about the nozzle test..

If you were to begin printing right after the first print, which clears up at 5/6 the way through, does the banding begin all over again? What if you print 2 copies of the print that clears up at 5/6 the way down? Does it start all over again on the second copy?

Would not explain the banding I saw in your posted images of the green patches. Green = cyan + yellow inks, little to no magenta can be present. Take a closer look at your yellow nozzle check. Yellow is hard to see. BTW, using a blue optical filter held in front of the nozzle check pattern will reveal the yellow nozzle check pattern much better to your eyes. If you are using highest quality setting, the problem definitely looks like it's traceable to incomplete nozzle performance, but also run a print head alignment calibration. That's the other possibility.

Same problem with two different (brand new) L805 printers. The first one was replaced under guarantee and the second one (brand new too) has the same banding. Sad...Is there anyone who has a good one?

I have the same issue with my L805. There is micro banding after both checking/cleaning the nozzles and aligning the print head. I even took it to the certified Epson warranty center and they couldn't seem to make any improvements. I just emailed Epson and waiting for their response. Hopefully they can provide me with some insight. I am getting very frustrated with the banding. And it sometimes appears worse than other times for no reason at all.

and it needs regularly head alignment and many times some times in order to have good quality . you don't have to print to the best quality. I use a standard quality for photos and the prints are amazing .
