You can use Prezi Desktop to create 'prezis' (PowerPoint presentations) on your computer without an internet connection. You can save the presentations on your computer or upload them to Prezi.com if you want to work on them or share them online.

I am looking for a bit of help, i have a presentation tomorrow and Prezi next desktop app will not install. I have used it previously but formatted the computer a while ago and have just tried to install prezi next app.

Have you tried double-clicking on the EXE file in the unzipped folder to load the downloaded portable? For more information about presenting and viewing downloaded prezis, check out this help article.

Hello Catarina,

Here is a screenshot of the open tasks in my web browser and on my desktop (there is a white dot below the open applications)

This is the minimum I need to work: one open file in .ppt, one in word, and my time tracking desktop application.

Before I shifted to Windows 11, I used to have up to 10 internet windows open simultaneously for images searching, 3 or 4 .ppt files, and 2 or 3 .pdf files, in addition to Prezi, without any performance problem. My other applications are running as usual, despite some modifications of the Office Pack applications, not for the best in my opinion.

I used to use Prezi Desktop to design prezis and uploaded to online. However, recently PD is working very badly:

1.- You can not share anymore the link of your prezi using Share link in PD, the result is a 403 error. You need to get the link via web and not Prezi Desktop

2.- Now it is hanging after updating the prezi and I have lost all the changes made tonight (not happy).

I like non-linear presentation software like prezi. The problem with Prezi is it is not open source and not a desktop client (For linux). You will say use Libra-Office Impress but it is linear and I hate that. If there isn't any non-linear presentation software for linux like Prezi Desktop, than is there a plugin that make Libra-Office Impress like it or Apache OpenOffice? I want a desktop client, and not a web-base app!

Hi Lana, I see in the screencast that it is possible but i am failing to do so.

I select a whole subtopic, either on the list on the left or directly in the canvas (by either using Ctrl-C or right click copy, it doesnt matter, the reult is the same) and go to the destination prezi and press Ctrl-V but nothing happens!

I have the same problem. I have restarted the computer several times, have high speed Internet, have tried various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera) and various laptops (mac & windows). I was able to edit it just a few hours ago.

when I use the app, the app cannot access the camera despite clicking the icon to show my face and the prezi presentation. I have already checked my settings and granted access to the app. I have uninstalled and installed the app.

may I please ask if there is any possibility to sync my presentations manually besides clicking on the cloud od the right bottom? I have made some important changes online in my prezies and prezi next says edited 22 minutes ago and ignore my changes I made just a few minutes ago.

Prezi is a web-based tool for creating presentations (called prezis for short). It's similar to other presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint, but it offers some unique features that make it a good alternative. In recent years, it has become popular in schools and businesses. If you're looking to create a presentation that's a bit more eye-catching and engaging, Prezi may be for you.

This concept is much easier to describe with a visual aid, so we've embedded a sample prezi below. Simply select Start Prezi, then use the arrows at the bottom to navigate through the presentation.

You might be wondering what makes Prezi different from other presentation software, like PowerPoint or Keynote. For one thing, Prezi is completely free to use. There are upgrades you can pay for to unlock additional features, but everything you need to create and share a dynamic prezi is available free of cost.

Another great reason to use Prezi is that it is run entirely through your web browser, meaning there will be fewer compatibility issues than with other programs like PowerPoint. Your prezi will always look the same, no matter what computer you're viewing it on.

Because of its unique presentation style, Prezitag_hash_114 can use movement and metaphor to help communicate a point you're trying to make. If you want your audience to really feel a sense of space and distance between locations, you could use a map template, like in the prezi below.

But what truly sets Genially apart is its commitment to interactivity. With features that allow you to add hotspots, pop-up windows, hover-over labels, and even interactive data visualizations, your audience won't just view your presentation; they'll experience it.

Hi, I want to embed my prezi presentations on my website. Ive just applied it into html, and it seemes to work only when Im logged into account on prezi.com. I dont know how to make it work constantly, regardless of whether I am connected and on all browsers. please help. thank you very much! this is the site:

Now I try to do the same with an updated prezi (copy of the previous) and I get only the code in my blog instead of the prezentation.

(I embed the code in my previous comment above to try if it works on this site, so you can check it)

Do you have any idea what can be the problem?

To install first of all you have to download it from Prezi's official website which is www.prezi.com. After completion of downloading, you have to install it on your computer, it may take 4 to 5 minutes. ff782bc1db
