All 3 have features to release caught pokemon that you don't want to keep and both SX and Polygon have had problems at points in time with releasing pokemon that were configured to be retained.
Let's get some terminology out of the way. When I say a feature/action is "silent" that means it's done very quickly without any of the normal displays in Pogo. Silently catching a pokemon doesn't display the encounter screen. An "abbreviated" feature means you will see a small portion of the on screen interaction. You might not see the full encounter and the pokeball shake but you'll see portions of it. Silent interactions allow the bot to work very quickly whereas abbreviated actions are much slower but might appear to the Pogo app that a real player is performing them.

Porygon is a virtual Pokmon. It is based on early 3D animation models, and is thus created completely out of polygons. It looks a little like a duck or some kind of bird. The various parts of Porygon's body are colored pink, white, and blue. Its eyes are in the shape of hexagons.
Porygon is based off the mathematical term "polygon". The 'r' comes from the pronunciation of 'l's in Japan. It may also come from "origami" (the Japanese art of folding paper) or "tori" (Japanese for "bird").
A Pokmon fan has discovered that the Generation One Pokmon Porygon is literally made up of 50 polygons. The classic pocket monster is a Normal-type Pokmon that was created by Silph Co. in Kanto's Cinnabar Lab. Porygon is an artificial Pokmon made completely out of programming code, thus allowing it to exist in cyberspace. It is also the first Pokmon to have been created using computer programming.
On Reddit, user Sorakannabinol has shared their discovery that Porygon is made up of 50 polygons. Porygon's physical appearance seems relatively simple at first with a pink polyhedral head with a blue beak, hexagonal eyes, and pink-blue polyhedral body with blue triangular feet and a rectangular prism tail. According to the Redditor, the Pokmon is actually made of multiple polygons, something they set out to confirm on their own after finding no information on it online. The user explains how they came to their conclusion, writing: "I couldn't find any info about it so I just counted them by looking at the models on the wiki. 6 for the tail. 7 for each leg. 10 for the body. 20 for the head."
While Sorakannabinol's 50-polygon fact doesn't seem to have been previously disclosed online, reactions to the post on Reddit have been positive. Despite being one of the older Pokmon in the franchise, it's impressive that facts are still being uncovered, and there's perhaps many more Gen-One Pokmon tidbits still to learn. As Porygon is one of the most easily recognizable Pokmon, it's likely that the man-made creature will appear in future Pokmon games.
