After you delete a playlist, the playlist URL and title will no longer be visible or searchable in YouTube Analytics. Data associated with the playlist, such as Watch time, will still be part of broader reports, but won't be attributed to the deleted playlist.

A playlist is a list of video or audio files that can be played back on a media player, either sequentially or in a shuffled order.[1] In its most general form, an audio playlist is simply a list of songs that can be played once or in a loop.[2] The term has several specialized meanings in the realms of television broadcasting, radio broadcasting and personal computers.

A video playlist can also be a list of recorded titles on a digital video disk (DVD). On the internet, a playlist can be a list of chapters in a movie serial; for example, Flash Gordon in the Planet Mongo is available on YouTube as a playlist of thirteen consecutive video chapters.

Cable TV and broadcast TV news channels often use video playlists to rerun prerecorded news stories. A given news story might initially be shown live and then placed into a playlist to be shown over and over again at a later time. News channel broadcasting is a combination of live and pre-recorded programming. The prerecorded clips are usually run from a playlist.

As music storage and playback using personal computers became common, the term "playlist" was adopted by various media player software programs intended to organize and control music on a PC. Such playlists may be defined, stored, and selected to run either in sequence or if a random playlist function is selected, in a random order. Playlists' uses include allowing a particular desired musical atmosphere to be created and maintained without constant user interaction or allowing a variety of different styles of music to be played, again without maintenance.

Several computer playlist formats for multimedia players, such as PLS, can pass a playlist or URL to the player. In the case of radio stations it can also link many audio players directly to the station's live streaming audio, bypassing any need for a web browser. (In that case, the playlist file is typically downloaded from the station's live streaming web page, if offered. The files are similar to Internet shortcut files in appearance and internal structure, except used by media players rather than web browsers.)

Some Internet streaming services, such as Spotify,[4] Amazon Music, 8tracks, and the defunct Playlist.com and Webjay, allow users to categorize, edit, and listen to playlists online. Other sites focus on playlist creation aided by personalized song recommendations, ratings, and reviews. On certain sites, users create and share annotated playlists, giving visitors the option to read contextual information or reviewer comments about each song while listening. Some sites only allow the sharing of the playlist data with the actual music being delivered by other channels (e.g., Plurn), others provide a closed catalog of content from which the playlists can be generated, and sites like imeem allow users to upload the music to central servers to be shared and accessed by any user of the site. iPods can also be used to build playlists.

Pandora is another music streaming service that is available on the Internet. Pandora is one of the few music services that is free (no subscription required) to users. The user can select genres that are played back at random on Pandora's playlists.

On video hosting service websites such as YouTube and Vimeo, users can make playlists of select videos from themselves or other users for topical purposes;[7] paid accounts can upgrade playlists of their own videos to "shows".

Most media players, such as Winamp, can easily create custom playlists from one's media library. For example, in a software MP3 player for Windows, Android, or macOS, the desired tunes are typically dragged and dropped from the user's music library into the player's "edit or create playlist" window and saved.

The idea of automatically generating music playlists from annotated databases was pioneered by Franois Pachet and Pierre Roy.[8] Constraint satisfaction techniques were developed to create playlists that satisfy arbitrary "sequence constraints", such as continuity, diversity, similarity, etc. Since, many other techniques were proposed, such as case-based reasoning.[9]

The playlist shortcode implements the functionality of displaying a collection of WordPress audio or video files in a post using a simple Shortcode. This was added as of WordPress 3.9 and is used like this:

Since I downloaded IOS 17.1 (yes I am a Apple Beta user) I cant download/play any songs from Brave playlist. Always when I want to Play it, the Error message: Sorry, There was a problem Loading your resource.

Hi, I just updated, but the issue is still there with Youtube videos in the playlist. I deleted all items from the playlist and retried with new videos. Anything I might have missed?

President Obama is once again sharing his summer picks -- an eclectic mix of hand-selected tracks on two lists that take listeners from day to night. The vacation playlists feature legendary songs from Prince and Aretha Franklin, some more recent tracks from hip hop artists like Common and Chance the Rapper and the musical styles of Manu Chao and Caetano Veloso.

I create large playlists of specific artists for specific occasions. I often supply music for large gatherings and events. There is often a few hundred songs on these playlists. I used to just set up stations but they can get random and I've noticed more an more now the stations don't stay on genre, so I've moved to paying for the upgrade to make playlists. But maintaining the playlists are not user friendly. I can't find a way to search the playlist when I need to edit them. When listening you can see the number of the track in the list but then when you go to edit it you are forced to scroll the entirety of the list and on top of that the numbering system disappears so there is no way to track where you even are in the list.

@StJest While there isn't currently a way to search within customized playlists, I recommend upvoting this existing feature request with a to express your interest in seeing it added to the service: Search within Playlists

By default, each dashboard is displayed for the amount of time entered in the Interval field, which you set when you create or edit a playlist. After you start a playlist, you can control it with the navbar at the top of the page.

The playlist displays each dashboard for the time specified in the Interval field, set when creating or editing a playlist. Once a playlist starts, you can control it using the navbar at the top of your screen.

You can save a playlist and add it to your Playlists page, where you can start it. Be sure that all the dashboards you want to appear in your playlist are added when creating or editing the playlist before saving it.

You can edit a playlist by updating its name, interval time, and by adding, removing, and rearranging the order of dashboards. On the rare occasion when you no longer need a playlist, you can delete it.

(Optional) If the instructor wants to create a new Learner Made Bulb for the playlist, please click the drop-down button next to " Create New Bulb" and select Create Learner Made Bulb. After the learner made Bulb is created, please follow the steps below to add it to the playlist. Please see this article for more information about creating Learner Made Bulbs in PlayPosit.

Toggle on to provide the certificate to learners upon completion of the playlist. Click the input sections to upload a customized badge and signature to the certificate, and click Preview Certificate to preview it.

If there are Learner Made Bulbs in the playlist, instructors can also toggle on the Disable certificate access until LMBs graded option to prevent learners from accessing the certificate before instructors review and grade their LMB submissions.

When the minimum completion score is applied to the bulb, learners will need to meet the minimum score to mark the bulb as complete. If the lock progression is also enabled in this playlist, learners will need to meet the minimum scores to unlock the next item in the playlist and move forward.

Returns a collection of playlists that match the API request parameters. For example, you can retrieve all playlists that the authenticated user owns, or you can retrieve one or more playlists by their unique IDs.

Solar eclipses are rare enough that there is not a lot of music on such a specific topic even though total solar eclipses have always captivated our attention. However, we have put together some playlists that remind us of this inspiring phenomenon of nature. Enjoy!

I have a Youtube playlist. I want to embed it on a website. But instead of always starting at the first video, I want it to start at either a random video, or a at least a specific video (which I can randomly select with server side code).

This playlist supported the psychedelic experiences of those who participated in a new study published Nov. 4 in JAMA Psychiatry that found that psilocybin may show promise as a treatment for adults with major depression. A version of the playlist is available on Spotify.

The playlist, which Johns Hopkins has used since it began its psychedelic research 20 years ago, dates back to 1967. At the time, Richards was involved in similar research at the Spring Grove Hospital Center in Catonsville, which is now part of the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center. There, he and other researchers investigated LSD, psilocybin and other psychedelics for treating substance use disorder, depression and the psychological distress associated with terminal cancer. The drugs were also studied for their effects on the professional lives of religious and mental health professionals. 006ab0faaa
