As far as I can recall, when I installed Norton 360 onto my new computer, it carried over the files I had backed up from my old computer. I didn't want them though. I can't remember if I deleted the files before I installed Norton onto my new computer, or after (but I believe I did it after) and I still couldn't get rid of the Norton Drive even though it was empty. (I had not run a scan yet.) I turned the Backup off so that it wouldn't back up anything else, so, yeah, it was off. I still couldn't delete the Norton Backup Drive. After I turned it on and ran the scan again (pausing it because I thought I was wasting my time) I went back into the drive, deleted the files it had scanned, unmarked all the folders/files that it was supposed to scan, and then, when I right clicked on the drive again just to see if that did anything, I was able to delete it. (I do not know if I turned off Norton Backup before my final attempt to delete it, but I probably did so that it wouldn't attempt to scan anything in the future.)

I'm not a computer guy, but it was almost as if by running the scan for the first time on the new computer it reset how Norton viewed the backup drive that got carried over from my old computer and I was able to delete it as it was meant to be deleted. As of right now, the Cloud Backup is off and the drive hasn't reappeared.

Last trip, I started moving photos from X-T10 to phone via camera wifi, and from there my phone would sync up to Google Photos anytime I had real wifi. Worked well...except I quickly ran out of storage space on my phone. Even with a 64GB microSD, I just had too much other music, files, etc. on there since I also use my phone for basically everything else while travelling.

New idea is an OTG SD card reader; plug that into the phone and get Google Photos to recognize the folder and sync directly from the SD card, without ever having to use phone storage. My thought is I could just plug that in every night to upload photos from the day, but still keep the original JPG/RAW files on the SD card as I go. Has anyone managed to do it this way before?

Hi I have a WD backup drive . When I started I used a 2TB drive as target. I then changed short time after. I have read everything but still cant get rid of the original 2TG target as a target as I now use it as a source.

Occasionally WD backsup to the 2 TB disc, so I have to watch it. The 2TB disk is not a WD disc. Thanks.
